So you're not confused This is what we'll be editing.


First, you'll want to locate your Art Sqool files from steam. they should be found under;
Name of Comp>ProgramFiles (x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>ART SQOOL

(Or, if that doesn't work try)
Storage>Steam library>steamapps>common>ART SQOOL

Should look like this when you found it.

Next, you'll want to click on the ART SQOOL folder opening up should look like this.

Open the folder "ART SQOOL_Data"
From here we can see the image we're replacing named "ScreenSelector" right click on the image>open with>Program of your choosing. For me I use paint.net.

as you are editing it make sure the image you're using is the same exact size as the original. nothing less, nothing more.

PLEASE NOTE
if you "save" the image you're editing as the original, the old image on the title screen will be terminated until reinstallation of the game.

Once you are finished be sure to name the file "ScreenSelector" and save it as a .jpeg
Depending if you are saving the older Art Sqool art just drop the image into the ART SQOOL_Data folder as is.

Now your custom image will appear every time you launch the game.
