THIS MOD IS CURRENTLY IN ALPHA, I GUARANTEE IT WILL NOT WORK PERFECTLY AND MAY BE UPDATED AT ANY POINT. USE AT OWN RISK

For a long time, people have wanted to play some form of nomadic civilization in stellaris. For just as long, people have said you can't.

Well, now you can.

This mod gives a origin which allows you to start as a spaceborne nomad, introducing a few unique mechanics in order to replace planets (you get a pseudo-planet in a system not accessible). You are given a flagship which has shipyards and is very powerful to try to prevent being wiped out immediately. lifeships add districts and give a scaling bonus

it is heavily recommended to run a high-number building slot mod alongside at this time, such as this one

That being said, I may have missed some techs, or they simply don't do anything. Some technologies/modifiers that don't do anything currently:
-clear blockers time
-anything related to habitats
-terraforming
-tomb world habitability
If you have an idea for what they should do, or have found a tech I missed, tell me.

The AI has no idea how to use this mod. Don't even try.

Finally, this mod, in spite of making such huge changes, only changes the pacifist faction.

If you have any balance suggestions, bug reports, typos, missing localisation, etc. I'd love to hear about it.

Loaded this up today. Not only are lifeships gone, as described by others, but the starting colony/capitol is an salvageable mess. Unfortunate, seems like this mod is completely broken now.

One of the most underrated mods on the workshop. Hope it gets updated! Until then anyone who wants to play as nomads should use DarkSpace since its nomad mechanics are almost identical

I am really liking the setup of this mod, but like True Knight, I am unable to figure out how to get lifeships, might be broken

Playing this mod on the newest patch, 3.4.4, and I am unable to create lifeships, and the template for them simply does not exist in the ship designer. Is this just an issue with my game, or is it a mod issue? If it is a mod issue, will it be fixed?

I don't have any resource platforms, and both ships are correctly gated behind having the origin. Even if you somehow got them without the origin, lifeships are useless because the logic doesn't run without the origin.
