To Start
I've created this guide to address the complete lack of guides for this game. As much as I enjoyed the game, I still wanted to get the achievements and I know others will too. The pictures were always a clue on how to get them, but knowing what to do took some time. With that in mind, here is a short and to the point guide for each achievement.
No Food Here

At the beginning of the game, click on the empty ice-box in the back of the room and then on the cat. Contradict the cat using the icebox clue.
On The Job

This is an unmissable achievement gained by deciding to continue with the case at Frankie's bar.
Vision

This is another unmissable achievement, gained by playing through the car accident twist in the middle of the game
Master Sleuth
This is the last unmissable achievement, which is gained by completing the game.
My Zaide
When you enter Stable's Barbershop there will be a photograph on the back wall. Click on it to gain the clue, then ask Stable about it. Follow through his explanation.
Becoming Learned
After you have gained access to "The Tin Spoon" and have met Tiny, ask him about the wine-bottle poem that is the password to get in.
The Capital
Simply ask Ella about the newspaper that was in your apartment at the beginning of the game.
Das Kapital
Ask Ray Carter about the newspaper from your apartment.
Pour Me Another
At "The Coffeeshop" aka Frankie's bar, look to the far left and on the bar is his cocktail shaker. Click on it for the description, then ask him about it. Ask for a drink.
A Broken Levi
When interviewing Mrs. Fanny Green, ask her about her singing career at the Tin Spoon. During the conversation, ask her where she is from.

Thanks for the guide! Along with the other achievement guide for this game, there is an important detail I encountered with "The Capital" - you must carry through the conversation once the newspaper is presented to obtain the achievement (either Agree or Disagree with her). If you Drop the subject, you will get locked out of the achievement. This happened to me. I'm pretty sure there are similar conditions for many of the other achievements triggered by chats!
