Battle of Lang Vei 1968

This scenario depicts the assault on the 5th Special Forces Group base at Lang Vei. This base was near the Khe Sanh Airbase and the DMZ bordering North Vietnam.

As the Officer of the 5th Special Forces Group (5thSFG) your task was to train the local Montagnard tribesmen to repel VC and NVA attacks in the region.

It is now 6th February 1968 and the NVA have begun their attack. Suprisingly they have also brought up Soviet PT-76 tanks.

Your aim is to defend the SF Camp from the NVA to allow time for a tactical retreat. You will also need to plant charges on the base before retreating (apparently there is some classified CIA material in the Command Bunker and Headquarters want this destroyed)

The nearby Khe Sanh Airbase will provide you with Artillery and Close Air Support.

The SF Camp is defended by well-trained Montagnard villagers, ARVN and Laotian Troops.


! This Scenario is set on the terrain of Khe-Sanh and it is expected to play as a COOP on the BLUFOR side !
