SLI Fix
UPDATE:
SLI profile was added by Nvidia... So you do not need this guide anymore!

Settings:
1920x1080 (FullScreen) @ MAX Settings
& VSync Off (not for playing, only for checking if SLI works...)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Before: GPU1= 98%; GPU2= 5%
After: GPU1= 97%; GPU2= 98%
--------------------------------------------------------------------
=> SLI compatibility bits: "0x02400405 (Payday: The Heist, ...)"
Tutorial
0. Download [www.nvidia.com] & install the latest NVIDIA Driver
1. Add "payday2_win32_release.exe" to your NVIDIA 3D Profile Settings
2. Download [www.guru3d.com] & open NVIDIA Inspector (note: also extract "CustomSettingNames_en-EN.xml")
2.1 Go to “Driver Profile Settings” --> Set Global Driver Profile to "payday2_win32_release.exe"
2.2 Then set "SLI compatibility bits" to 0x02400405 (Payday: TheHeist, Grand Ages: Rome,...)
2.3 & set all other settings as shown below... --> Apply changes
3. Enjoy PAYDAY 2 with SLI enabled
(Test-) System Specs:
I5 2500K @4500MHz
GTX 460 SLI @840MHz / 2000MHz
16GB DDR3 @1600MHz
120GB SSD
Win 7 Pro 64bit

Tested on the following NVIDIA Drivers:
326.41 BETA
326.80 BETA
Tweaking NVIDIA Driver Settings
Forcing / Tweaking some Nvidia Driver Settings
(FXAA, 4x AA (MSAA), Texture Filtering: High Quality,...)
This can also be done by people without an SLI System!
Attention
Unfortunately after installing a new Nvidia Driver, you have to set your SLI Profile again!
Even with the "Express Installation"... :(
(But only the SLI Profile Settings, the tweaked Settings stay the same.)

--> You can "prevent" that by Exporting all customized profiles (with Nvidia Inspector) and import them back after the Nvidia Driver Installation!
"Too many" fps (Overpower?!) Try this...
If you have too many fps and want to get some more "picture quality" out of PADAY2, try this:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=170006630 This can also be done by Non-SLI-User ;)

Please tell me why you have set your GPU count to 4? Do you have 4 cards? I have 2 908 GTX's - what would mine be? Thanks fro any help you can be.

Good stuff, now I can run sweet-fx at a solid 60 fps with this fix, thanks! :)

No, just set everything like above :D :Owl: :displash:

=> It doesn't matter if you have 2 GPUs and set the number of predefined GPUs to "2" instead of "4"! (= no benefit/fpsboost/etc.)
"4" only means that the Driver will use every GPU it can find on your system.
(=>Up to max. 4 GPU Cards, as this is the max. for Nvidia )

Sorry for being ignorant mate but If I have a 2 card SLI System I should put 2 in my predfined number of GPU's right? Thank for tut anyway man cause i would have never known otherwise!

Fixed the mouse delay for me. Awesome guide. Thanks!

with VSync activated, the mouse lag is pretty much gone for me.
(I also played a lot with the two mouse sensitivity slide bars)

Before doing this i would get some mouse delay playing on 1920x1080.
After doing it... I still get mouse delay ;-;

These are my PC Specs:
Intel i7 3770k 3.4Ghz
Asus Sabertooth X79
16Gb DDR5 RAM (8Gb x 2)
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 (x 2)

It is clearly the game. Not me.

But thanks for the tut. :chains:

SLI = 2, 3 or 4 GPUs (or Video Cards) :Owl:

Cool guide... but what in the name of bacon is SLI? I'm assuming it boosts performace, but Google explains it too technically. It would be awesome if you could add an introduction to SLI. :)
