Introduction
Hello! This guide is all about the statistics of healing items, and where to find them. This guide was created to easily find out what type of healing items to take with you/which are more valuable than others. Also, this guide uses some information from both Kameding's youtube video about medicine ( https://youtu.be/XOtk95qeFUc ) and the Unturned wiki ( https://unturned.fandom.com/wiki/Unturned_Bunker_Wiki ). They were both very helpful with information about the game, so if you're stuck or unsure of something, be sure to go and look at these, since they do a lot of work to get information for us to use!
Basic Health Info
  • Your health starts at 100% upon spawning/respawning.
  • Your health goes down as you take damage from players, zombies or the environment
  • If either your Food or Water meter reach 0%, you slowly take damage
  • If your Infection level goes to 50% or lower, it will start slowly decreasing, and when reaching 0%, you start taking damage, similar to starvation or dehydration.
  • Many food items can restore health other than just medical items, such as Vermillion berries.
  • There are some status effects that can cause your health to go down, and these are ; Bleeding, which is caused by taking damage more than 20%, or getting injured by typical weapons, such as knives or bullets. Freezing, which occurs when the player doesn't have enough clothes or heat in snowy places, and starts damaging your health. Burning is the exact opposite, and occurs when on fire, but still decreases health.

  • Vaccine - Can be crafted using a [Metal Can], some [Bricks], some [Glue] and [Chemicals] or found in Medical Areas (Rare) - Heals 15% Health and 45% Infection - *Green Syringe* - *Fairly easy way to heal Infection, as most ingredients can be found in construction areas, and the Chemicals can sometimes be found in Auto Shops and Garages.*
Tips
  • When adventuring, be sure to hot-key your healing items (Right Click item in inventory then press number button), since having it easily accessible can save your life.
  • If you can't find any clothes to rip up for cloth, you can use 2 scrap metal to use for a splint, since you can use it without having broken bones, and heal 10% health. Small, but sometimes it could be useful.
  • Some of the best healing items take up 2x2 (Medkit and Suturekit), so be sure to be mindful of space when gearing up.
End
Hooray! If you read through this guide, then you should start up your own clinic in Unturned, since you'll know your stuff! If there is something wrong in this guide, then please comment it so that I can fix it, or if you have a tip, comment it as well, so that I can add it to the Tips section. Good luck survivors!
