Queen's Quest: Tower of Darkness has a total of 22 Steam achievements, of these just 2 are story related and the remaining 20 achievements are missable, as for completion time, this is in the region of 3 hours.

To ensure the swiftest 100% possible I would advise following this roadmap to completion...

MAIN GAME.

• There are no achievements relating to difficulty so select whichever suits your mood. Be aware however that there is an achievement that requires you to use the hint button 40 times and so I would recommend playing on Casual or Advanced rather than Expert as the hint button recharges that much faster on easier difficulties.

• There are no achievements relating to watching the cut scenes, feel free to skip them if you must.

• Do not skip ANY of the mini-game puzzles, there are not only achievements relating to not skipping any of them there are also specific achievements earned for completing certain puzzles without skipping as well. Please be aware that some puzzles have random solutions in the game so my video walkthrough will sadly not always hold your hand through the solution, but it will at least show you the mechanics and final outcome.

• Make sure to grab all 23 collectables (there are 5 achievements related to these), a full list of collectables and their locations can be found in the achievements section of this guide and my video walkthrough also shows all collectable locations.

• At the start of the game, after the initial cut scene, the game will ask you if you would like "interactive help", this is asking if you would like to enable to tutorial, make sure to select yes. The tutorial lasts for around 8 minutes, up until, and including a part of the first hidden object scene, while the tutorial is active take care and ensure NOT to accidently click on skip on any of the pop-up tool tips, do what it tells you to do and do not click skip until it ends during the first hidden object scene.

• Lastly, to earn the 3 out of 3 achievement you will need to complete three hidden object scenes in a row, one after the other without using the hint button or a single missclick (clicking on an item that is not on the list of items to locate at the bottom of the scene). This achievement can be rather tricky due to the fact that each scene contains a number of morphing objects which can easily cause you to missclick. Doing this will also earn you the Perfection achievement as well..

BONUS CHAPTER.
After completing the Main Game head back to the title screen, click play and select "Bonus Chapter" to play the bonus chapter (which becomes available only after completing the main game).

It should be noted that it is possible to 100% the game without playing the Bonus Chapter as there are no specific achievements relating to the Bonus Chapter. As for the other missable achievements, I am sadly unsure if it is possible to unlock them in the Bonus Chapter as I had earned them all before the end of the Main Game

While this achievement is technically missable, it would be hard to do so, there are 23 mini-games in the main Queen's Quest: Tower of Darkness game and of those around 5 of them are viable for this achievement.

Independent.
Complete a Hidden Object Scene without the hint.

***MISSABLE***
Self explanatory, simply complete a hidden object scene without using a hint and this achievement pops. If you do plan to use hints in the hidden object scenes, ensure to make yourself aware of the "3 out of 3" achievement.

Listener.
Complete entire tutorial.

***MISSABLE***

Eagle Eye.
Complete a Hidden Object Scene in less than a minute.

Thankfully Queen's Quest: Tower of Darkness is one of those hidden object games that reuses scenes more than once, which makes this a little easier than it would be otherwise.

Without conscious effort I earned this on my second hidden object scene which happened to be the second play of the Dungeon scene, see my Video Walkthrough Part 2 for HOG #2 at the 1:34 mark.

Tic-tac.
Finish 3 Hidden Object Puzzles in less than 10 minutes.

***MISSABLE***
Another technically missable achievement, that no one should miss, even with the annoying morphing objects in the scenes.

Crown Collection.
Collect all Crowns.

***MISSABLE***
Inside the castle, there are 6 hidden crowns to collect to earn this achievement. The locations of these crowns are shown in the "Crown Collectables" chapter of this guide and my Video Walkthrough also shows the location of all collectables as well with time stamps for each of them.

No shortcuts.
Complete 5 minigames without skipping them.

***MISSABLE***
If you are trying to 100% Queen's Quest: Tower of Darkness, do not skip any of the 23 mini-game puzzles (in the main game), curiously this achievement popped after completing my 6th mini-game puzzle (rather than after the 5th as implied by the achievement description) despite having skipped none of the puzzles in my playthrough

Perfection.
Complete a Hidden Object Scene without missclick.

***MISSABLE***
To earn this achievement you must complete one hidden object scene without clicking on anything that is not on the list of items to locate at the bottom of the scene, takes care with those morphing objects as it is very easy to misclick if an object morphs just as you click.

Sword Collection.
Collect all Swords.

***MISSABLE***
Outside the Castle and in the Town, there are 5 hidden swords to collect to earn this achievement. The locations of these swords are shown in the "Sword Collectables" chapter of this guide and my Video Walkthrough also shows the location of all collectables as well with time stamps for each of them.

The Cleaner.
Finish the Back Alley Minigame without skipping.

***MISSABLE***
This achievement unlocks when completing, without skipping the moving boxes puzzle in the alley to the right in the City Street, see my Video Walkthrough Part 3 for Puzzle #11 at the 5:17 mark for further assistance.

Hooked.
Use the hint 40 times.

***MISSABLE***
This achievement pops after using the hint button for the 40th time, be it in game or in a hidden object scene. As there is no achievement relating to difficulty, select Casual when starting the game as the harder the difficulty the slower the hint button recharge. Also, be aware of the "3 out of 3" achievement if using the hint button in hidden object scenes.

Playing on Casual I managed to earn this about 40% the way through the main game, so should be attainable on Advanced difficulty, on Expert... I can't say, I also do not know if using hints in the Bonus Chapter count towards the 40 total as I had earned 100% achievements by the end of the Main Game.

Dragon Slayer.
Defeat the Dragon.

This is a story related achievement that unlocks when you defeat the dragon at the Port.

3 out of 3.
Finish 3 Hidden Object Puzzles without hint or missclick.

***MISSABLE***
This is by far and away the most difficulty (and annoying) achievement in Queen's Quest: Tower of Darkness. To earn this achievement you must complete 3 hidden object scenes without using a hint or a missclick (clicking on something that is not on the list of items to locate).

What the achievement description doesn't tell you however, is that all three must be one after the other, that's three scenes in a row without a hint or missclick, and not three scenes in total.

What makes this challenging are the morphing objects in the scenes, when going for this achievement great care must be taken to familiarise yourself with which objects are morphing and to click them when they have morphed into the objects you need. If you see a morphing object and do not know how long ago it morphed wait until it cycles as more than once the game caught me out and it morphed into a different object just as I clicked it.

Hook Collection.
Collect all Hooks.

***MISSABLE***
Onboard the ship, there are 6 hidden hooks to collect to earn this achievement. The locations of these hooks are shown in the "Hook Collectables" chapter of this guide and my Video Walkthrough also shows the location of all collectables as well with time stamps for each of them.

Aye Aye Cap'n.
Escape the Kraken.

This is a story related achievement that unlocks when you defeat the Kraken on the boat.

Storyteller.
Finish the Theatres Minigames without skipping.

***MISSABLE***
This achievement unlocks when completing, without skipping the Theatre mini-game puzzles (there are two parts and the achievement unlocks after the second, assuming you complete both without skipping).

The first part is in the Castle Bedroom, see my Video Walkthrough Part 1 for Puzzle #2 at the 6:01 mark for further assistance.

The second part is in the Storage room onboard the boat, see my Video Walkthrough Part 4 for Puzzle #16 at the 11:47 mark for further assistance.

Genius.
Finish the Jumping Blocks Minigame without skipping.

This achievement unlocks when completing, without skipping the jumping blocks puzzle, in the tree at the Forest Gate, see my Video Walkthrough Part 5 for Puzzle #18 at the 6:10 mark for further assistance.

Coordinator.
Finish the Swap Minigame without skipping

This achievement unlocks when completing, without skipping the coloured shapes puzzle, on the Bridge Passage, see my Video Walkthrough Part 6 for Puzzle #20 at the 1:21 mark for further assistance.

Apple Collection.
Collect all Apples.

On the island, there are 6 hidden apples to collect to earn this achievement. The locations of these apples are shown in the "Apples Collectables" chapter of this guide and my Video Walkthrough also shows the location of all collectables as well with time stamps for each of them.

The Collector.
Gather all of the collectable items

This achievement unlocks after collecting all the hidden collectable items in the main game (there are none in the bonus chapter) as noted in the Crown Collection, Sword Collection, Hook Collection and the Apple Collection sections of this guide.

Mastermind.
Finish 23 Minigames without skipping.

This achievement unlocks after completing all 23 mini-game puzzles in the main game without skipping a single one.
