HOW TO BE A BETTER MEDIC!
STEP 1: Embrace the art of right-clicking.
With your medkits out, you can right-click to apply a direct healing effect. This doesn't cost you a medkit, and is far more efficient when it comes to healing friendly players. I reccomend that you use this, as opposed to throwing a medkit for a single player.

STEP 2: Take advantage of all three healing methods.
Area Heal (the [E] ability), thrown healthkits, and direct healing are all powerful heals, depending on the situation. Area heal is most useful for when you're with a group, or you need to heal on the run. Thrown medkits give generous healing, force your heal targets to stick in one area for a short while. Direct healing lets you heal a specific person for a little bit, but it's best for single heal targets.

STEP 3: Know that [E] and thrown healthkits stack.
Area Heal and medkit abilities stack in healing. If you really want to keep your team alive in a heated situation, the combination of Area Heal and thrown health kits will certainly allow your team to sponge some serious damage.
STEP 4: Don't be afraid to drop medkits on medpacks.
Yelling at your teammates, telling them to "HOLD THE F@%# STILL" won't do much in the long run. If your teammates have any sense in them, you can instead throw medkits on top of health packs. Teammates who wish to fully heal don't need to search for more health packs; They can instead fully heal in one spot, and return to the fight sooner.

STEP 5: Stick near teammates.
Being on your own, ESPECIALLY when you're a pacifist, isn't going to do much for you in the long run. Teammates who clearly aren't pacifists can defend you, while you offer them constant healing. You won't be as productive as a battle medic who both kicks ass and heals for days, but you'll at least be waiting to respawn less often.

STEP 6: Spam health kits, but don't be too liberal.
Throwing medkits around the map for your teammates is always going to help. Don't throw too many, however. You can never have more than five medkits, so it's in your best interest to keep an eye on how many you have left.

STEP 7: Keep an eye on your sprint meter.
When your team DOES die, it's important to know when to save yourself from the dreaded respawn timer. Bunny hop where possible to escape narrow situations.

STEP 8: Learn how to bunny hop.
Bunny hopping, also known as sprint-jumping, is the fastest way to get around in Dino D-Day. It is a superhuman way to quickly traverse the map, or escape dangerous situations. Carefully time your jumping and sprinting. Starting to sprint will take off a bit of your sprint metre, but starting to sprint in mid-air doesn't have this effect.

STEP 9: Pocket good players.
This is an expansion on step five. Good players with a high point/death ratio will often do the killing for you. Following and healing (or "pocketing") the top-tier players where possible, will mean that your hardest hitter will be able to win rounds for you. Seriously, do it. On a side note, pocketing a Desma isn't a bad idea in general. They need the healing to keep dealing untold amounts of splash damage, so a constantly-healed Desma will be the definition of disruption

STEP 10: Point wh0re.
This is gonna be everything summed up. Heal where possible. Even if friendly players are missing just a sliver of health, patch it up. More healing for you, a happier team, and a point added for every 100 healing done. Keep you and your team alive. Because all things considered, a pacifist isn't very helpful. I have nothing wrong with people who wish to do no harm, but PLEASE! At least point wh0re with healing.
