By StealthMomo
This trick will enable you to easily enchant items without the enchanter disappearing later on unless you reroll the world.

Introduction
This is my first guide and it is very short and simple. Some of you may already know this trick but I still want to contribute to this community.
Requirements
For this trick to work you need:
  • A Waypoint Portal Scroll
  • A very quick portal clicking (to prevent the creature from running away)
  • Decent amount of Gold (depends on what you want to achieve)
How the trick works?
If you discover a Wanderer Enchanter in the wilds, after using its services it walks away right? Well to avoid that you have to open up a portal and go through it as soon as possible! Now when you later revisit that portal you will see that the enchanter is still in there (looking for the map's boundaries) and you will be able to enchant again. Repeat the process and you will be able to enchant many items in this way.
Just a little note
  • If you revisit the map without using the portal then the enchanter will be gone for good.
  • The enchanter location must be wide enough so that when it walks away you have ample of space to chase the creature.
  • You can enchant as many as possible as long as the enchanter doesn't walk right through the map's walls or boundaries.
  • You may have to reroll many times to get that specific enchanter.
  • If the enchanter is near the map's boundaries just talk to the creature and it might go the other way.
  • Opening another portal to a different map will prevent you from re-visiting the enchanter. (Thanks to MageThis)
What is the surest map to discover a Wanderer Enchanter?
Visit the Crow Pass for a sure way to discover a Wanderer Enchanter. The good thing about this map is that it is very easy and quick to access. This map is located in the north part of the First Act Estherian Enclave. You just have to reroll and reroll again until you find the right enchanter.
What are Enchanters by the way?
Well they give you specific enchantments for your items like Elements like Fire or Ice, Attributes which adds attributes to an item or Sockets that add sockets to an item isn't it obvious enough? Then there is a Enchanter that can add Unique abilites to an item and a Grandmaster that adds up random 4 enchantments.

This website[torchlight.wikia.com] provides detailed information about Wanderer Enchanters and what enchantments they offer.

You will have to look for this creature.

@MageThis thanks for the Portal, added entry at "just a little note" section.

Almost forgot, just don't open any more portals.. same with the portal next to the enchanter trick. I do forget if you can open another portal in a different Act and still keep your portal next to the enchanter.. I don't think you can but I could easily be wrong.

Another use of the portal scroll is to prevent an area from re-rolling. Eg. Ossean Wastes Tarroch's Tomb.. open a portal (I put mine near the Tomb because I am farming it) but want to farm other Acts without worrying about Ossean Wastes re-rolling while I do want the other Acts to re-roll (as they do over time and as you tool from Act to Mapworks etc.). I imagine a Lan or Internet re-roll would still re-roll Ossean Wastes... haven't tried it.

crows pass has 100% chance of spawning a wandering enchanter IF you get the right map spawn; i.e., the map spawn facing NORTH with the two fire pits on either side of the cobblestone trail heading, well, NORTH. there is 100% chance of a wandering enchanter spawning on this map spawn.

just keep rerolling until you get that particular map spawn, and then hope the enchanter youre looking for has spawned. Borris and Jurick (attributes and socket enchanter, respectively) always spawn on bridge, and all of the elemental enchanters seem to spawn past the bridge near the end of the zone. karkozi is random, as far as ive encountered. always check the whole map before rerolling world, you never know who can spawn where.

100% of the time, it works 100% of the time ;)

@Elektrohawk The purpose of the Crow Pass map is that it is accessible that you can reroll and reroll until the wanderer of your choice pops up. I think I got the Grand Enchanter after probably around 50 rerolls.

The Crow Pass isn't a sure location for a wandering enchanter. Just rerolled twice and no enchanter either time. Nice trick though with the portal.
