How to perform "Mercy"

When the game offers the player to "Finish Him/Her/Xe"

-Be sure your character is at jump distance away from your opponent
-Hold the 'LT' Button (Left Trigger)
-Press Down Three times (like as if you were doing a combo)
-Release the 'LT' Button (Left Trigger)

The Screen should glow a nice lovely gold and you'll see the words "Mercy"

From here, your opponent gets a short boost in health and another chance to fight you
Or, you can get a few extra bonus points and finish them off with a win.

I like how this guide blatantly says WITH A CONTROLLER ON STEAM, yet aall these troglodites hop in here asking for pc controls, who tf uses a keyboard for a fighting game?

Left Trigger is a button on the controller.
For some its L1
I dunno how to use it on a keyboard because I can afford a $20 controller.

Also, you guys shouldnt be using mercy anyway. Its Mortal Kombat. You're meant to be bloody ruthless and kick everyones arse showing no mercy.
