Description : After building a lot of beefy ships, I saw the original Wake's role was kind of out classed. Decided if it's going to be squishy, it should at least be fast so I redesigned it to provide an alternative play style vs the heavier armoured types. Keeping the torpedos so it can utilize it's speed and range to out play other ships. I've learned a lot since I first made the Wake so the redesign mostly does everything better. Fun to contrast against "older tech" of my worse ships. Despite its cost it's not a tank, should use speed to control combat or use as a second line support. Ideally start as Iron and upgrade to Titanium later. has a few frameworks for customization but not a ton.

Lore: The covert ops branch of the WFL; named Shadow Fleet, wanted something that could get in and out of sorties quickly and looking at existing ship designs the new model of armoured ships were too bulky and slow. The old Wake Class Frigate was showing its age compared to the new line of ships, but still had the role the SF was looking for. A new modernization project was commissioned to boost the capabilities of the Wake Class bringing it inline with the needs of the Shadow Fleet with the new Wake MK II Class Frigate.

Here are some screenshots of the work I've been doing on it, if you're interested in seeing what I've done with your creation. I tried to keep a similar style to the original while still improving the level of detail since it's been sized up a few times now.

Hey I love this ship. Like a lot. It's the favorite ship I've been using in my run. I've had to do a lot of upgrades to it to fit it to my liking for where I am in the game, as well as large aesthetic changes; but it's been a great platform for me to work on to get to where I am now. So thanks!

Hey Blitz, Im glad you've been using the ships, hope they've been doing well fo you.

I had/have some 10+ designs I've held off a bit as the build time on them takes longer and longer the larger it gets. One of them is a carrier as well.

Also go for it sure you can upload your own custom versions, all I ask is to be given credit for the original design but have at her.

I'm not gonna lie. I have all of your ship designs and am slowly building up my ranks in game right now. Seeing your start to put out variants of your previously built ships makes me excited to see what's next. On a different note, I was wondering when you would be putting out a 10+ slot ship or a carrier?

Closing question, would you mind if I uploaded my custom versions of your ships and made a mod pack of them for my own use later as not to lose the files?
