有的網料是推薦 mod ，不過很舊，可能是2015、2016的文，那些推薦 mod 可能隨 Cities: Skylines 更新，已不再被支持。亦有很多2018後才出現的 mod 沒提及。於是就會搜尋 cities skylines mod 2019。

由於資產及 mod 都不斷會有新的，所以 cities skylines 可以是歷久不衰。而這裡會將 mod 分門別類及逐一簡介。玩家按情況直接用自己想要的。

mod 主要都分幾個類型

• 改善系，目的是解決遊戲本身一些問題。
  
• 視覺系，令畫面更漂亮，包括相機、視角及任何幫助畫面美觀的。
  
• 建設系，都是與畫面有關；不過是指陳設佈置，能讓你將物件放到想放位置。
  
• 真實系，模擬真實情況，令城市更似真實城市。
  
• 便利系，令你覺得方便一些，介面或一些便利性質。
  
• 其他，即以上皆不是的情況。

事實上哪個 mod 有 bug 。哪個與哪個 mod 不兼容，時常發生。如果一味裝 mods ，到出問題時是哪個出事都不知道。非常非常麻煩。

雖然可以一口氣關所有 mods ，但是你仍然是不知道哪個 mod 出問題的。所以要了解一下。

Cities Skyline 本身的地鐵系統可說是別樹一格，巴士、電車、火車、出租車全都有調渡廠，唯獨地鐵沒有，城市中亦沒有辦法見到地鐵，它永遠在地底而且編輯外鏡頭沒法看地底。而 Metro Overhaul 就是將地鐵變成其他運輸系統一樣有調渡廠，有地面月台，地鐵能上地面上天橋。有渲染隧道，透過第一身視角Mod能在隧道看到內部情況。
