Introduction
Hello, my name is Ezequiel Deluca and I'm writing this guide to help you to change or add new music to this fantastic old game. I'm not sure if this is a known process, but since I haven't found much info, I decided to write this. So, let's get to the chase...
Finding the music files
The first thing you need to do is find where the files are. I don't know if this has always been the case, but in the actual version of the game, music tracks are stored in OGG format. You can find them in the game's installation folder, insider the "music" folder:

You'll notice that there are 7 files inside "music", starting from "Track2.ogg" to "Track8.ogg". Those are the tracks that play during the game.
Changing the existing tracks
The only thing you need to do to change the Tracks is replacing them with your own OGG files. If you own any MP3s of your favorite band, you can convert them without much problem with sound editing software. In my case, I used Audacity to do it. Once you have the OGG file, rename it to whatever track you want to change and overwrite the existing OGG with the desired one. For example, I dislike the dubstep music from tracks 02, 03 and 04, so I replaced them with more Iron Maiden songs. Just took "The Number of the Beast", "Wicker Man" and "Two Minutes to Midnight", converted them to OGG, renamed those OGGs as "Track02", "Track03" and "Track04" and overwrited the existing ones. Very easy!
Adding new songs
This may seem hard, but it's very easy to do. Simply add a new OGG file with it's name being the next number. For example, I really love Maiden and I wanted to add "Run to the Hills" to the selection. I just converted the song to OGG, renamed it "Track09.ogg" and pasted it in the "music" directory... and it works!

As you can see, it's a very easy process to do. Added song by this method work exactly like the original tracks, so they can play both in menu and in races!
Playing a different track during a race
Sadly, the game's random music selection is very bad, and it can select the same song twice, which is a bit of a letdown. But don't worry, you have a way to mitigate this. Just use the stop music key ("S" in the default controls in the A group configuration) to stop the track from playing and enable the music pressing the same key, This will force the game to select a new song at random again!
And that's all
Thanks a lot for reading this! I hope it was useful for you and that you managed to make that cool playlist that you always wanted to have with this fantastic game!

Adios and have fun!

This guide are really good. Just download desired track, convert to .ogg and paste this one track to the folder (don't forget to rename this track to "Track9" for example).

Thanks to you for using the guide! And yes, sadly the random selection is awful, it can select the same theme a lot of times, which I'm pretty sure never happened in the original version. But it is a small problem in a cool game, so, bright side :)

Thanks! It actually works. However, the random music selection of the game is pretty shitty. I keep pressing the S button and it just bounces around the same three songs. It's really stupid!
