I only recently started playing around with [getting over having Influenza!] NVIDIA's Freestyle effects/filters (which themselves were initially released to the public just a couple of months ago) - this is my screenshot of Piper, in a 'portrait close-up' with a mostly-Halftone effect, with some Detail filter for Sharpening and Brightness filter for extra Contrast. The 'vignette' effect is part of the Retro filter in Painterly, another filter in the list of NVIDIA's Freestyle effects, which come free* with their Drivers for their videocards [*you have to purchase their videocards to utilize it of course].
