"~I forgot to share this when I made it a few days ago - I actually started playing Permadeath Mode the other day now haha~
but I just saw a Thread about how people run into problems like these often "and so will never play Permadeath.." and reminded me of it. This is proof that it happens to everyone at some point or another - if you 'really' want to play Permadeath though (to get the Achievement for it, or just to know 'you did it' one day), don't let the fact these things can happen scare you away - you go ahead and have fun! I wish you Good Journey against the elements, both in the Galaxy and in the GameEngine, Traveller :cozynms:

(on my system, for copy/pasting - if you want to fight these potential bugs that way (backing up the save files once in a while) and while it goes against the concept/tension of 'permadeath' gameplay mode, I offer it simply because these bugs do sadly exist; perhaps they will clear/fix them all someday) HTH, Traveller"

Idk about my own Frighter, this never happened
I have a perma death (longest living at 112 hours) and i fell off one of my frigates once panicked and angry cause i thought I was going to die
It just spawned me back up on the frig with fall damage

That's why always have the SuperF4 program running on the background, several times I died or was on the verge of dead and I immediately pressed Ctrl + Alt + F4 to kill the foreground process, it never fails.

Just gotta be a ninja on the alt-f4. typically I would never condone such save scumming, but I just consider it a hotfix in this case

@Chancy , I died - I got a Quote and everything... At the very end of this, you can see the "Thermal Protection" turns on; I kept getting damaged until I just died. This has happened to others in the past - that is actually odd you DIDN'T die - GFY tho! Hope you survive more if it happens again, heh

It did happen to me in normal mode twice now, but It always puts me back into my last position. I don´t think you actually die from this.
