Lore
The Dreaming Door is not a physical location. You do not walk through it, and it cannot be seen in the waking world.
Nevertheless, it is real, and finding it is the ultimate goal of all draak-kin.

The Dreaming Door does not grant you power, or treasure, and it will not help you achieve your goals.
When you find the dreaming door, you will no longer have goals.
When you find the dreaming door, you lose everything.

Don't be afraid. Losing everything is the only way to gain everything.
Laying the Foundation.
Though I cannot be certain, it is likely that achieving success first in the 3 physical ways is needed to find the dreaming door. You cannot do it in one lifetime.

Destroy the No-Tails.
Become the No-Tails.
Escape from the No-tails.

Then, you need to find the first 20 thin keys. The twenty-first key will only be gained at the very end.
These are the tarot cards. Ignore the rods: They are not important to the dreaming door.
Once you have earned every tarot card except the last, start playing in part 3.

In part 3, you need to master all four elements. Only one truly in tune with the onesong can find the dreaming door.

Once you have achieved all of this, the door will appear in your dreams.
But you still need to open it.
Finding the sacred[secret] numbers.
So you have seen the door, but it is closed to you.
Another lifetime is needed.

You need the right numbers to open the door.
Fortunately, the door tells you where to find the numbers, and the great spirit opf the great rgeen gives you hints as well.

The first number was given to the weavers.
The second to the whiteblacks.
The third became physical, and was swallowed by a waterbound warrior.

The first number can be found in part 1.
Sing to the weaver in it's web, and it tells you a message in braille.
This has been translated to:

"Hear the song of my soul. Hear the words of my spirit.
All life is the center of its own world. All homes are traps in disguise.
The number of perfection is four and sixty, so speaks the green one.
As above, so below. This is the first and final truth emblazoned upon all things.
Hear the song of my soul. Hear the words of my spirit."

From this, we learn that the first of the sacred[secret] numbers is 64.

The second number can be found by learning the ways of the whiteblacks.
Hunt them, or pay the artist. Either way will work.
The number is between Giver and Gold.

So it is 5

The third number can be found in the belly of the longscale cheiftain, a massive scalebeast lurking in the water in part 3.
The icosidodecahedron you find there is worth a peculiar amount of shinies.
Therefore, the third number is 32
Opening the door
Armed with the sacred[secret] numbers, redo the steps needed for locating The Dreaming Door.
Enter each number correctly, and the door will open.

Now, you will face a final test of wisdom.
If you understand what The Dreaming Door is, you will not fail.

Give up everything to attain the twenty-first key.
Welcome to the other side.

The Longscale Chieftain only shows p in part 3 if you've stated your desire to chase the dreaming door.

Yup, the reeds in Tempest's territory, low probability of spawning. The tarot card may "affect something in the future"? What does it change.

Where is the "longscale chieftain" \ Icosidodecahedron? Is it in Tempest's territory? Haven't been able to find it.

Very nice guide with well-placed information and spoiler tags. A little note, if you'd like to update --

"Though I cannot be certain, it is likely that achieving success first in the 3 physical ways is needed to find the dreaming door."

As a matter of practicality, each successful ending also grants a tarot card, and 20 tarot cards are needed to see the Dreaming Door. So yes, it is needed.
