The Thorton

Hi everyone, I'm Thorton. I work as an executive at a local bank. I don't know what happened, but I turned up at the bottom of this freaky place! Maybe you could help guide me to safety?

FEATURES:

-92 fully arted, hopefully functional cards
-CHALLENGE.

The Thorton is a challenge character designed to push the limits of Slay the Spire. He's also a silly character I cooked up in three days. (One to make the cards, one to make the art, one to make Hexaghostify work.)

Archetypes:
-Running Away (Thorton can escape combat with all rewards by playing a certain number of cards with 'Run' in their names. It gets harder every time you flee, though, and it won't work on bosses as well, so be careful!)

-Relics and Gold (Thorton can use his business skills to gather extra gold from combats, and he obtains a random Relic just like from a treasure chest after playing 10 Business Cards or 3 Investments over the course of a run. Overwhelm enemies with a bunch of stuff, in the capitalist fashion!)

-Strength and Weak (Thorton can apply Weak very well with his pathetic appearance. Lowering enemy attack power helps him survive long enough to get some Strength up from his expensive Strength cards, which are nowhere near as strong as Ironclad's Strength gain.)

Anyone who can win Ascension 20 with Thorton deserves some serious props.

Note that you gain 1 PERMANENT starting gold as Thorton whenever you win.

And yes, that Normality is in the starting deck on purpose. ;)
