I know you at some point you wanted to play the game in Third Person Shoulder camera like Resident Evil, well, I made it easy for you! let's start with the steps then we move onto the commands! ^^

1. Open your Console by pressing the "~" key (the one on the left to the number one button above the letters directly below the "Esc" button)

2. Copy each command one by one and press Enter key after typing them or copy-pasting them

Here are the commands:

bind "key" thirdpersonshoulder (replace key with any button you can press to enable the third person, but type it without quotations, example: V button as I binded it to)

c_thirdpersonshoulderoffset 25 (if you want to replace the offset with a different angle go high or low, just make sure you know that 0 means it at the center)

c_thirdpersonshoulderaimdist 720 (changes the aiming distance of the camera)

c_thirdpersonshoulderdist 40 (changes the distance of the camera, like far or close)

c_thirdpersonshoulderheight 5 (changes the height of the camera, going -5 or -10 will give the game a more of a RE2 remake/RE6 style camera)

cam_ideallag 0

Just copy-paste them or type them into the console and then press Enter key just like what I said in the Steps section :)

Here are the features of the method of ATPS (I just named it that :P)

Works perfectly in any gamemode including Versus
(Regardless of the game is heavily modded or soft modded or just straight up vanilla)

Unbannable
(You can't get banned by using it no matter the server/gamemode/map is)

Not recognized as a cheat
(You can unlock achievements and play on VAC-protected servers easily)

Very customizable
(You can type every command and change the button bind, height, distance, offset etc.)

Automatically saves to your Steam Cloud
(For example you uninstalled the game and then reinstalled, then don't worry as it'll save to your configuration file config.cfg (although I'm not sure what cfg file the game saves to but I took the autoexec one as an example) that get uploaded to the Cloud so you can use it without having to type the commands everytime you reinstall)

Here is the list of them pesky bugs I encountered throughout using ATPS:

Shotgun firing sounds are bugged
(When you fire them in third person the gunshots doesn't sound, IDK what is the cause of this, I don't know if rebuilding the sound cache fixes it but I don't know since this is a beta developer feature thing and it wasn't completed in the first place and was buried in the game's code ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Shotgun Firing Sounds fix mod can be downloaded from here made by c2

Important Note regarding the Shotgun Firing Sounds fix mod: If you can't connect to official servers, you need to use the sv_consistency 1 command to fix the issue

In close distances it's inaccurate
(Example: A zombie is too close and your shots miss)

Sometimes the world glitches when you put the camera to look through a wall
(Like places in maps where the player isn't meant to access so it glitches, this is in every Source engine game IIRC like Gmod when you noclip out the map for instance)

Blood splatters don't show on screen
(When you slash zombies or something similar but I guess it's kinda a bugged perk so you have ease looking)

Weapon recoil screen shake isn't present
(This is kinda good and not good, good because it helps you shoot, not good because it's a bug ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Some effects don't appear on the screen when using ATPS
Like Adrenaline screen effect, other stuff etc. but Boomer Puke appears on both prespectives, also applies for last life (after many incapitations)
