ETX-03 STARGATE

This is a remake of the E-01 Quantum Tunneling Unit. Appearance overhauled with a stronger feel of "complex hi-tech equipment", especially under the platform. New name makes more sense. Portal visual effect is post-edited by Photoshop.

ETX-03 STARGATE (European Teleportation eXperiment, configuration 03, Szymczak Timespace Anomalous Resonance Generator, Aligned Teleportation Entanglement) is an extremely complex technological wonder. It can be roughly described as a spacetime wormhole generator, allowing instant direct traverse ("continuous teleporting") between two "entangled" units regardless of distance.

Though still in very early prototype phase, a brand new era of a multiplanetary civilization seems no longer far away.

100% Stock, 195 parts, Root part is the drone core under the platform.

- As you might have guessed, this is a purely decorative craft with no actual in-game functionality. But it’s not just designed to look cool:
- I LOVE setting up surface bases, but I’m too lazy to do multiple launchings and surface dockings, not to mention that some of my surface installations are just too large to be reasonably launched and landed. They should actually be built on-site. This would just require stacks of building material and robots to be launched and landed, and it would be a relatively simple job. So I skip this step and just use the mod VessleMover, especially its spawn function. With this thing as part of the base, I’ll have a good conscience doing so. Therefore, I can enjoy looking at my surface complex without all the repetitive effort that I don’t actually enjoy.
- It’s a rare case that the in-game thumbnail picture looks not ugly.
