This is an idea for a project that I’ve had for a long time and while I absolutely love the SFM I’m unfortunately not the best at animating but as a film student I thought I could bring some of my favorite characters from the Dota 2 Universe in live action. The inspiration for this scene was a combination of the Monkey King comic book that introduced the character of Ilexa and the lore behind Night Stalker. Our work process was using a mixture of Premiere, After Effects, C4D, Maya and Arnold with a brand new model of Night Stalker.
