How to invite all of your friends to a group [2025]

This is a simple script that allows you to invite a lot of friends to a selected steam group. ( bare in mind that there is an hourly limit on how many people you can invite to a group )

Before we start

Make sure developer/console is enabled in your browser.

Getting started

First, choose a group, once you have done that, copy this
/memberslistxml/?xml=1
and paste it at the end of the url. It should similar to this:

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/<GroupName>/memberslistxml/?xml=1

For example, this is my group ID: 103582791464927491

Second Step

After you have obtained the Group ID, go to your friends page ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/my/friends/ ) and open the dev console ( usually Ctrl + Shift + K ) and paste the following code:

const groupID = 'GROUPIDGOESHERE_JOINMINE'; const friends = GetCheckedAccounts('#search_results>.selectable'); InviteUserToGroup(null, groupID, friends);

Third & Last Step

Once you have pasted the code, copy the ID 64 and paste it where it says "GROUPID_JOINMINE", after that, press enter and a window will pop up, you can ignore it. ( its just saying it invite people etc )

If you wanna check who was invited to the group, check the group history ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/<GroupName>/history )

Mhm, I think it used to work before, I am not too sure, but I have a vague memory of it, anyways oh well, it might be steam

So I just tested it out and invites are not going through unless you are the owner of the group... I think cause when I try to send an invite even through steam by clicking on the player then invite to group nothing happens but when I did it from the group owners account the invite when through...

Nah it doesnt have a delay and yes as long as you have the permissions to invite.

One last question does this only work for the owner of the group or can anyone use this to invite others to a group? I know only the owner can check the history though

yeah i will try that cause no invites showed up on the history page so not sure it worked. I will check the history of the group again in a couple of hours incase there is a delay

Just wait a few hours and try again, it should invite some more people.

No worries yeah might be the hourly limit or even daily, I am not too sure!

thanks for the reply goigois1 I think it sent out 300 invites out of a total of 420 as selected 420 friends but got a message that said 100 of them failed invite

Sorry for the late reply, I have been away, anyways if you have over 400 friends, you have to do it a few times, cus steam has a rate limit, so you can only send so many invites over a few hours. There's nothing that can be done to get around that so.
