Description
TECHNOLOGY COST RAISED - SLOWER RESEARCH

As this mod increases the cost of researching new technologies, all empires in the game are equally affected.

(on endless game speed setting)
Stage 01 x1.5 --- (394) ~ x1.5
Stage 02 x2 +150 --- (810) ~ x2
Stage 03 x2 +300 --- (4710) ~ x3
Stage 04 x2 +400 --- (16210) ~ x4
Stage 05 x2 +550 --- (55210) ~ x5
Stage 06 x2 +1500 --- (150631) ~ x5


Thus, technological achievments are delayed significantly!


NOTE
This mod alters the ConstructibleElement_Science[Quadrant***].xml files.

Since this mod ONLY affects the cost of the technologies, it is recommended to use this mod with other ones wich modifies the game duration!

If this mod causes insurmountable incompatibilities with other mods due to its structure,
Jaggid Edje's Slower Research is a recommended alternative.

Yes, many mods are stumbling with the latest 1.5.60 patch. @js.cap44.hh seems to have edited the costs directly with these slow research mods, but it is also possible to just edit the research multipliers as well. Have a look at the SimulationDescriptors[Research] file -- this is where research multipliers are.

This mod worked great so far, but seems to have issues with the new re-awakening patch. Apparently, some techs have been removed/displaced in the research quadrants during the patch and this mod now leads to overlapping research icons. E.g. there is an overlapp displaying the tech "vacuum protection" on top of "autonomous materials" making the later impossible to select (thus, no worm hole travel :steamsad: ).
I hope the author can find time to fix this.
