The successor to the legendary Blue Demon has not rested on his laurels in recent years, competing in the unique atmosphere of Lucha Underground and making a triumpant return to AAA. However, while Demon Jr. was welcomed upon his homecoming, he soon demonstrated his rudo ways, engaging in bloody wars with Dr. Wagner Jr, defeating him in a Lucha de Apuestas at Triplemania XXVII where he pitted his mask against Wagner's hair.
