Accessing CPUCores ADVANCED Beta
Accessing CPUCores ADVANCED Beta
  • Right click on CPUCores on Steam library → Properties → Betas
  • Enter:
    CPUCBetaAccess

  • Click Check Code and opt-in the beta.
32 CPU Cores with Hyper-V
System Requirements
  • Windows 10 (Pro or Enterprise), or Windows 11 (Pro or Enterprise)
  • 64-bit Processor with Second Level Address Translation (SLAT).
  • CPU support for VM Monitor Mode Extension (VT-c on Intel CPUs).
  • Minimum of 4 GB memory.

Downloading Windows 10 ISO
  • Head to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and click on Create Windows 10 installation media to download the tool
  • Once downloaded, click MediaCreationTool.exe to launch the setup
  • Accept → Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC → Next

    • Language: English (United States)
    • Edition: Windows 10
    • Architecture 64-bit (x64)

  • Choose ISO file → Next → save anywhere
  • Wait for the process and then click on Finish

Enabling Hyper-V and setting up Virtual Machine
  • Now head to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/virtualization/hyper-v-on-windows/quick-start/enable-hyper-v and follow the instructions to enable Hyper-V
  • Once enabled, press WIN+R and enter:

    virtmgmt.msc


  • Right click on your PC name in the left pane and select New → Virtual Machine...
  • Next → name it however you like → Next
  • Generation 2 (if available) → Next
  • Startup memory: at least 4 GB → Next
  • Connection: Default Switch → Next
  • Create a virtual hard disk and set 50 or so GB → Next
  • Install an operating system from a bootable CD/DVD-ROM → Image file (.iso) → Browse...→ search for the ISO you downloaded earlier → Next and Finish

  • Right click on the virtual machine under Virtual Machines → Settings...
  • Processor → Number of virtual processors: 32 → Apply → Ok
  • Right click on the virtual machine → Start
  • Right click on the virtual machine again → Connect....

Installing Windows 10 Pro
  • Install Windows: Next → Install now
  • I don't have a product key → Windows 10 Pro → Next
  • I accept the license terms → Next
  • Custom: Install Windows only (advanced) → Next
  • Wait for the process to finish

  • Follow the instructions on screen however you like to finish the installation

    • Set up for personal use → Next
    • Offline account (bottom left corner)
    • Limited experience
    • Enter any name and skip password
    • Not now → Accept → Skip → Not now
    • Wait for the process to finish

Unlocking the achievements
  • Install Steam, then install CPUCores and access the beta (check top of the guide for password)
  • Launch CPU Cores and all the cores-related achievement should unlock

32 CPU Cores Your system has 32 or more CPU Cores. You Mad Lad.
Optimize 100 Games with CPUCores
We'll use a dummy .exe that does nothing for this

Head to https:// /tanalin.com/en/projects/do-nothing/ and download DoNothing from the right side of the screen
Launch CPUCores app and click on Games tab
Click on Add Game → search for DoNothing.exe and add it to the list

Add a Game Manually to CPUCores You can add Games, Utilities, Streaming Software, Anything to CPUCores if you want to optimize it.
Remaining Achiements
Click on Hardware tab → Memory → Clear

Dump your Memory Use the Memory Clear Function

Click on Settings on top right corner Enable Halloween Theme.

It's Halloween Use CPUCores on Halloween!

Run the game for 24 hours in a row and 2000 total hours. Can be done minimized or minimized to tray.

Use CPUCores for 24 Hours Straight You can leave CPUCores
CPUCores Hours Used: 2000 You've used CPUCores to boost your FPS for this many hours: 2000

DoNothing.exe is not counting for some reason towards the achievement of opening games

strange I have my profile on public, and the only one that doesn't want to unlock is the 2000 hours one, I have registered now over 2000+ hours of use??

Thanks for this guide lylat! It was extremely helpful, I'd been messaging randoms I found on AStats to see if I could remotely login on their PC but most of those people just had done it on some powerful PC at their workplace (except for one guy who was wiling to help but no longer had the 10-core processor, and another whose friend had helped him with it). Now I finally have this achievement I've sought after for MONTHS to get! Sorry for all the comments by the way, Steam had a 1000 character limit. Thought all the info was important so I posted it all.
