NOTE: This guide is a work in progress and so far in contains info to get you through the whole game, including the two possible endings.
Considering that some of the achievements have been broken for more than 2 years, I temporarily gave up on completing this guide with the info for the unobtainable achievements.

As of 1 Nov 2021, the game was updated and these achievements have been fixed. I plan to update this guide as soon as possible to reflect these changes.

Chapter 1 (Starting Area)
Take one sphere from the ground (there are 3 in total), place it inside the door and press the control panel.


Achievement: Crystal Clear

Middle door; place two spheres, press the control panel, grab the square element and use the scanner.

Chapter 2 (Grasslands)
Continue to unlock the gates by placing the spheres in the correct slots.


Make sure to scan the pictogram around the corner. If you turn around to your right and take a few steps back towards where 2 spheres are located, you will find another one.

Before going to the next area, take a moment to enjoy the nice view (go uphill towards the tree).
SIGHT


Make sure to scan all four square elements that you gathered from this area. You will need them later.
Place them in the following order to unlock the door:

Projecting the symbol is unlocked as you step into the next area, therefore you will need to come back here right afterwards.

Important: For the "Symbols of Knowledge" achievement, you will need to go back and scan the 3 symbols from the starting area as well.

While at it, there's a secret PICTOGRAM that unlocks using the following projection (the pictogram is at the door between the starting area and this area):


Achievement: Methodical Thinker

You reached Checkpoint 2.
Chapter 3 (Jungle)
PICTOGRAM


If you scanned all the pictograms so far, you should unlock:
Achievement unlocked: Novice Archivist

Project the symbol on the wall.


Place the orb in the center and then stand on the lever tile.


Place the two orbs on the left and on the right slot, then stand on the lever tile.


Place an orb in front of the pillar with the "8" symbol, then one in front of the pillar with a "square symbol". Stand on the lever tile.


Make sure to scan all the symbols before placing them. Set the buttons on top of the square plates as indicated below.


Achievement: Perceptive Observer

Before moving to the next area, go back at the start of this area, on the right behind the first puzzle there's a path towards a door; you can now project the symbol and open it.


SIGHT


You reached Checkpoint 3.
Progress: 9%

On the left of the door between this area and the next one, there is a hidden PICTOGRAM:


There is another projection hidden PICTOGRAM in this area (right next to the door between this area and the next one) which is unlocked by projecting one of the symbols scanned from the elevator (next area).
Chapter 4 (Elevator)
Go down the stairs and remove the stone that block the left pipes.
This will enable the elevator situated on the middle platform.

PICTOGRAM (on one of the elevator's outside walls)


Make sure to scan the the two square pieces and bring them with you on the platform.

Set the level to 4. Pick up the third tile and scan it.

Set the level to 3. Place these two tiles in the slots. The door opens and you can pick up the 4th symbol (make sure to also scan it).


Set the level to 6. Place the tile and press the button to invert the pixels.
Pick up the new tiles and scan them.


Set the level to 4. Place the tile and press the "S" button. Pick up two new tiles and scan them.


Set the level to 1.


Achievement: Unwilling Lift Attendant

You reached Checkpoint 4.

Progress: 12%

Set the elevator to level 0 and project the following symbol to unlock a hidden PICTOGRAM:



If you step into the chamber behind it you will unlock:
Achievement unlocked: Unhealthy hoarding
Chapter 5 (Swamp 1)
In this area, you will die if you touch the water.

Take the square tile on the left and place it on the pillar. This will imprint the pattern from the pillar onto the tile. Take the tile with you and repeat this with the three other pillars located in this area.








After you have all four, you can use the tile to unlock the door.


Behind one of the pillars (in the area where you have to jump on the rocks) there's a secret passageway that can be opened by projecting a SECRET SYMBOL (you will acquire it in the forge area):


You reached Checkpoint 5.
Progress: 15%.
Chapter 6 (Swamp 2)
Take the platform in front of you, turn left, take the next platform. Then turn left and go towards the back of the island on which you are, then jump on the fallen column onto the next little islands.

Make your way towards the next pictogram and scan it, then jump further from island to island:


Imprint the pattern from the pillar onto the tile and then use the other pillars (only the ones from the images) to remove parts of the pattern:










Use the symbol on the door. Make sure to scan it when it's activated.


You reached: Checkpoint 6.

Take the middle platform toward the island in the middle; pick up the square tile as it is (do not place it on the left pillar).
Turn around, take the platform on your left and make sure to scan the pictogram.


Take the platform towards the entrance of this segment then take the leftmost platform to get to the first pillar. Place the square tile on the pillar to transfer the pattern.


Make your way back to the middle island and place the tile on the left pillar to invert the pattern.


Go behind these two pillars and make your way to the rightmost pillar, jumping from island to island.


Go back to the first pillar, go past it and take the platform towards the last pillar. Place the tile on it.


Make sure to scan the symbol before opening the gate.


You reached: Checkpoint 7

Take the platform and then make sure to scan both the pictogram and the symbol on the gate.


Take the square tile and place it on the following pillars:





Behind them there is a platform that takes you to the secret symbol of the previous area.

Achievement: Resolute Explorer

Make sure to scan the three pictograms from the room.

Pick up the square tile (it's located on one of the benches and use it to unlock the door (scan the symbol before that).


You reached Checkpoint 8.

Progress: 23%
Chapter 7 (Signal Plates)
First, stand on the button that activates the device in which you have to place the square tiles.
Make sure to scan the 3 symbols and the pictogram.



Pick up the empty tile, place it in the device and press the inverter button (the rightmost one)


Achievement: Inverter

Place the following two tiles and pick up the tile on the top that contains the combined pattern).
Place it in the door to activate the next slot.



Take one of the two blank tiles, place it on top of the pillar then use the following two tiles in order to combine the pattern onto the empty one.
Take the resulting tile and use in on the door.




Use these two tiles (notice that the only active button is the left one).
Take the resulting piece and place it in the door to activate the next slot.


Take the blank tile, place it on top of the pillar then use these two tiles (notice that the active buttons have changed).
Place the resulting pattern in the door.



You know the drill by now...




For the first symbol, combine these two tiles. Use it on the door.


Then take an empty tile and imprint the same pattern once again.


Take it out, grab the other empty tile, then combine the resulted pattern with the square pattern, like this:


Same thing as before, only that this time you need only one pattern to be imprinted on the tile, then to combine the resulting tile with another one.





Achievement: Promising Plateengineer

You reached Checkpoint 9.

Progress: 26%
Chapter 8 (Opening the Potion Laboratory)
Make sure to scan the symbol.
Take the items from the left and right niches and bring them back to the temple entrance. These can be filled with water.



Fill both of them by placing them on the button that makes the water flow. Leave one there and take one with you. Use it to fill the well. This will unlock the next area.



You reached checkpoint 10.

Progress: 27%
Chapter 9 (Potion Laboratory)
Drink 15 potions (it can be the same one).

Achievement: Curious Connoisseur
Achievement: For Science!

Find and empty plate and imprint this pattern on it. Then press the top button of the machine in order to fill the pool.
Pick up one of the amphoras and place it on the stone in front of the pool in order to fill it with water.


Fill the rightmost well with the resulted water. Scan the symbol.

Empty the pool (bottom left button) then repeat the process with the next pattern.


Fill the well with the resulted water. Scan the symbol.

Place the first plate you created in the machine. Press the button to fill the pool.
Do not empty the pool, remove the first plate and then place the second plate.
The symbols from the two plates will be then combined.
Fill an amphora with this water and then fill the corresponding well. Scan the symbol.




You reached Checkpoint 11.

Take two empty plates and create the following patterns.
Place them in the machine one after another, without emptying the pool in between.
Fill an amphora with this water and then fill the corresponding well. Scan the symbol.




For the last well you will need to prepare 4 plates, then place them in the machine one after another without emptying the pool in between.
Fill an amphora with this water and then fill the last well






Achievement: Flawless Mixtures
Achievement: Aspiring Alchemist

The item revealed is the key to unlock the forge room (take it back to the courtyard and place it in the forge door).
If you open the scanner where the symbol is (in the potion area) you will notice that there is another symbol under it that you can scan.

You reached Checkpoint 12.
Progress: 31%.
Chapter 10 (Foundry)
Scan the 4 pictograms around the room and all the symbols.
You can go back to the entrance of the temple and take the platform back to the swamp area in order to use the secret symbol.

If you do this, you will reach Checkpoint 13.

Door 1
Combine these two plates.
Place the resulting one in the machine, set the level to 1, press the button to transfer the pattern and then the button to forge it.



Door 2
Combine these two plates.
Place the resulting one in the machine, set the level to 1, press the button to transfer the pattern (do not forge it).
Remove the first plate and replace it with the second one, set the level to 2, press the button to transfer the pattern and then the button to forge it.




You reached Checkpoint 14.
Progress: 33%

Door 3
First level:
Combine these tiles, always taking an empty one to transfer the pattern.




Second level:



And place the resulted plates on each level:

Checkpoint 21 reached (?).

To forge the key that unlocks the crystal room do the following:

You reached Checkpoint 17.
Progress: 37%
Chapter 11 (Crystals)
After you unlock this room, you can obtain the "Confused Roomoperator": bring one potion into the forge; one forge item into the crystal room and one yellow sphere into the potion room.

Achievement: Confused Roomoperator

Make sure to scan the PICTOGRAM.

First, place the crystals in the slots of the left door.


Take the crystals and place them in the two leftmost slots of the right door.
The take the leftmost crystal and move it to the rightmost slot.

Achievement: Competent Crystaltician.
Chaper 12 (Opening the Fountain)
Project the symbol to uncover a PICTOGRAM



Project the symbol (you can scan it from above the crystal room) to uncover 2 x PICTOGRAM



Set the water level to 6.



Set the water level to 9.



TODO last element
(you'll need to rotate the fountain rings so that the water flows to the center).

Achievement: A suspicious fountain

Below the fountain, you should be able to project this symbol (rotate it 180 degrees):

Chaper 13 (Waterfall Temple / Synthetis Chamber)
Steps to craft the key for the waterfall temple (the secret passage outside the fountain area):

First level:




Second level:



And place the resulted plates on each level:



Go to the potion room and imprint the pattern on the left, then combine it in the forge room with the tile on the right.



Take the resulted pattern and the forged item and unlock the waterfall door:


You reached Checkpoint 22 (?).

Scan all the PICTOGRAMS in the room (4 on the main room, 1 downstairs).

Achievement: Cryptic Blueprint.

Crafting the potion needed for the helmet
Use the following plates successively, without emptying the pool in between.





Fill an amphora with this potion and drink it.

Crafting the helmet
Take the red stone and craft the helmet. You'll notice that this has a particular shape (it already contains all 7 layers).


Take the object to the crystal room and set the level to 6 (white) in order to charge the helmet.


Having the potion drank, pick up the helmet and put it on ("E").

Achievement: Confident Trailblazer
Achievement A New Perspective.

Go back to the Waterfall Temple and activate the elevator to go up one level. Press the control panel to activate the colored pillars.


You reached checkpoint 23.

You can now use the blue teleporter to teleport above the fountain area. Project this symbol to reveal a PICTOGRAM:
Chapter 14 (Mine Carts - Turning on the Excavator)
After you have opened the fountain and put the white helmet on, go downstairs and approach the white pillar. After you connect the transmitter, you'll be teleported to the next white pillar.

Achievement: Datafied

Take the elevator down.

You reached checkpoint 25.

Pick up the cart, enter it and let it run till it stops.

Achievement: Unlicensed Carting

You reached checkpoint 26.

Pick up the symbol plate from the red crystals area (make sure to also scan the symbol).
Take it with you and go behind the blue crystals (there's a path leading upwards).
Use the transmitter pillar while holding the plate. It will teleport you into the forge room. The plate will be behind the teleportation pillar.
Use it to craft a new cart and take it back to the red teleportation pillar.
Enter it and drive.

You reached checkpoint 27.

Project the symbol to uncover a PICTOGRAM (you'll need to rotate it 90 degrees)



Take the cart and after it stops take the next one.
Behind the blue crystals there's a wall you can project this symbol on:


Somewhere in the the same blue crystals area, there's a purple plate. Pick it up and take it upstairs in order to activate the excavator.


Achievement: Digging For Answers

Take the cart back from where you came. The excavator arm now moves and you can step on its platform.

You reached checkpoint 28.

Take the next cart.
Chapter 15 (Mine Carts - Plateengineer Area)
There are 3 PICTOGRAMS and a SYMBOL to scan in this area.






Activate the carts using the following combinations:




After the third cart is loaded fully (you'll need the loads from both carts), you can project this symbol on the yellow pillar and then press the button to let the cart run.



You reached Checkpoint 30.
Chapter 16 (Mine Carts - Forge Area)
Go to the upper level of the area, which has a building in the center. You'll see that one turret is missing - you'll need to craft it in the forge.

Scan the PICTOGRAM and the symbol


Take the symbol plate with you all way back to the forge (in the same area there are some stairs that lead to a teleportation pillar; look for some red crystals and you'll spot them).

In the forge, craft the missing turret.
Level 1 and 7:


Levels 2-6:


Use the teleportation pillar to bring back the turret to the cart area. Place it in the missing slot and press the buttons of both control panels. This will enable the devices that drop the rocks into the carts.

You reached Checkpoint 31.

Upper level, right cart (looking down from above)



Then insert this plate to enable the second part of the path.


Upper level, left cart (looking down from above)

First, fill the cart with rocks:


Wait for it to come back, then swap the plate with this one:


Middle level carts


Lower level
Project this symbol (it's pretty hard to find; in the middle area, looking down towards the rails ending, go to the wall on your right; there are some blocks that can be used as stairs; jump on them, the symbol is on a pillar facing the wall) to create a path for the left cart:


Project this symbol (you can find it on one of the pillars of this area, easily visible from the console that controls the middle carts - you'll see it on the left of your screen) to create a path for the right cart:


Achievement: Seasoned Shaper


Chapter 17 (Mine Carts - Potions Area)
Look for some island, you'll need to jump on them to reach the teleportation pillar. In the same region, up the hill you can project a symbol to find out the formula:



If you go behind the teleportation pillar, you'll even find the way up so that you can scan the PICTOGRAM.

Preparing the potion
Teleport back to the potion room and prepare the potion.



Fill one amphora with it and transport the water back to the carts area. Use it to fill the well.

Achievement: Accomplished Alchemist

You reached checkpoint 32.

Left cart
Make sure to activate both plates at the same time:


Right cart
First, grab the rocks


Then use the following two plates:



In order to find the projection symbols, you'll need to look carefully for two separate openings on the right wall (try to search around the green crystals of that wall). Each of them leads to one symbol (you'll see something that looks like a cave with yellow crystals inside).


Chapter 18 (Mine Carts - Coloring the crystals)

You reached Checkpoint 34.
Progress: 87%.

Launch the carts. The big door opens and you can travel to a new zone.
You reached Checkpoint 35.
Chapter 19 (Ascension Room and Endings)
Make sure to scan the 4 x Symbols and 4 x PICTOGRAMS after you unlock each of these doors.

Red door:

Achievement: Rite Of Passage

Go upstairs and program the mine carts as follows:

Blue:

Yellow:


After you let the carts run, go to each of them and press the button on the helmet of the statues. This will project their corresponding symbols.
In the end, project this symbol:


Achievement unlocked: Illuminating Tribute

You reached Checkpoint 36.

Enter the Ascension Room and sit on the throne.
You reached Ending 1.

Achievement: Transcendence

You can reload from the last checkpoint and continue to explore the second ending.

After reloading, enter the Ascension Room but don't sit on the throne.
Instead, activate all four control panels and follow the ghosts till you get to a waterfall.
You'll need to project the symbols on the wall.
If you go downstairs, you'll get a PICTOGRAM.







Achievement: Individualist
You reached Ending 2.
Secret minigame
In the Ascension Room area (upstairs) go behind the red cart path ending and look for some stairs. If you go downstairs and to the left you'll find a passage that leads to a tetris symbol.


In the Ascension Room area (upstairs), go behind the panel that programs the yellow cart; there's a room containing multiple symbols and PICTOGRAMS to scan and a purple teleporter. Use it.
You're back below the fountain. You can project several symbols now.

Going up the stairs on your right there's a secret passage:
Rotate this 90 degrees


Left door:


Right door (rotate 180 degrees)


You can now unlock the Tetris room and play Memotris.
Achievements after you complete the game (WIP)
Use a random teleporter and teleport yourself 25 times (you can go back and forth between two pillars)
Achievement: I can stop any time

Oh. OH. I just figured it out... that's very clever It's a 3d shape so you don't have to print it from the front side... I thought the puzzle was bugged or something because there was no way to get it from the front, lol.

Your screenshots of Foundry door 5 puzzle me, because mine look completely different. Have the developers changed the puzzles there? I can see in your screenshot that the general shape on the right looks the same but you seem to provide completely different answers. Am I not getting something here?

Mine seems to have two long straight lines as the deepest layer, same lines but with a few protruding 1 blocks on the edges for the 2nd layer and some more extra blocks for the closest layer. Does this look familiar to you? Been stuck on the 2nd layer for like half an hour, can't seem to figure out how to get that shape.

Hi, can someone explain to me how "Chief Crystalcian" work, i did it flawlessly 2 times in two differents runs but as of today, no achievment.

It looks like all achievements are obtainable now. The developers just released an update to fix the "Puzzling Pasttime" achievement.

All achievements, except 'Puzzling Pasttime" appear to be working. They did for me at least.

Time saving tip: Do NOT drink the special potion before putting on the helmet. First Make a helmet and try it on, granting you the achievement tied to that color helmet. Then change the color of the helmet and repeat until you have all related achievements.

THEN drink the special potion and pick the definitive color of your helmet and put it on to continue the game.

Is anybody else having a problem with the mine carts , chapter15. The carts get filled with stone and that is dumped into the last 2 carts. i go to the yellow pillar and project the symbol and nothing....... nothing happens. i move it to tr to align it perfectly stilll nothing'....

idk what ele to try. it is frustrating cuz i've looked at some videos and walkthroughs and im trying to copy what they do to the lettter but still nothing....

I find the description of the achievement to be self-explanatory:
Bring a filled amphora into the forge, a forged object into the crystal workshop and a charged object into the potion laboratory

There are three separate rooms: the forge, the potion room and the crystals room.
Go into the potion room, fill one amphora with water and bring it to the forge; just dump it there.
From the forge you take a crafted object and you bring it into the crystal room.
From the crystal room you take a charged orb and bring it into the potion room.
For me it triggered when I did exactly what it said.

Thanks, I found it. Funny thing. When I first got there, you have to open a door by making a symbol and there were 4 pillars. After trying again and again, I gave up. Then I came back to it using a different saved game, and there are 5 pillars now and the area changed slightly.

I don't know if this is a glitch or not but it was weird.
