1. Download the trainer from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil6/mods/12?tab=files (if you're afraid it might be infected with a virus, here's a virustotal scan: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/752bf96a09698f00e7f37f6eef9842416dc11b34bd6e59fedac76f405cbbb4ee/detection ).

2. Unzip the file you just downloaded and run the "RE6UltimateTrainer.exe" file as an administrator.

3. Now launch Resident Evil 6 via the Steam library.

4. Start the game from the main menu, select "PLAY GAME", click "EXTRA CONTENT", and from there choose a game mode you would like to play with bots and select "CREATE GAME".

5. Alt-tab out of your game (ALT + TAB on keyboard) and then open the trainer program's window.

6. Select the "Mercenaries | Slots" tab from the trainer window and click the box at the top left-hand corner next to the "Change Slots" text.

























7. You'll get a prompt but just HIT "OK" and for each dial labelled 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 click on the "AI" dial towards the bottom of the window.

























8. After this you'll want to click the "Enable All" button at the bottom of the trainer window and that's all there is to it!

























9. Finally, alt-tab back into the game and select "START GAME".

⚫ If you hear an annoying sound playing repeatedly in the lobby it's likely because one of the player dials has been give AI status but hasn't got it's "Enable Player" box ticked - just alt-tab out of the game, check dials 2-8, and tick the "Enable Player" box for the dial that's the culprit.

⚫ Unlike the Resident Evil 5 trainer: you dont need to tick the "Freeze Player" box for bots to work nor do you have to assign teams to bots as the game does it for you (providing the selected game mode supports teams or AI being on a team together). You can still set teams for each player in the trainer manually if you wish though.

⚫ Choose what map you want to play prior to creating the game session (before you reach the lobby screen) otherwise you'll be given a "You cannot select this stage because not all players have it" message. If you still receive this error, and you're not in a game mode restricted to only 2 players, set the player 2 dial to "Offline" in the trainer.

⚫ If you can't control your character: alt-tab out of the game and set the player 1 dial to "Offline" (this should be the default setting but others have reported that this isn't the case.

⚫ If a bot has no partners that are on the same team... they'll be idle and sit in the map on one spot (in rare circumstances they may defend themselves against zombies or other imminent dangers).

⚫ When playing the Predator game mode, there are as many rounds as there are players and every player gets one chance to play as the Ustanak in a single match (do note: because the Ustanak has no teammates/bot partners his AI will have him sitting idly on the map doing nothing).

⚫ If you wish to play with a friend online: alt-tab out of the game and set as many player dials as necessary to "Online" instead of "Offline" or "AI".
