Introduction
Most of the achievements for this game are very straightforward, and I'm not going to go into great detail for most of them. The primary goal of this guide will be to point out the locations of collectibles, with a few tips here and there for making the non-collecting achievements a bit easier. Leave me a comment if you'd like something added, if you find an error, or if you just want to boost my serotonin.

Special thanks to Acquilla, who gave me the screenshots and descriptions for all magazine pages past chapter I. He responded within hours of my guide going up saying he was willing to provide me with those resources, and without him it would have taken much longer for me to get them up myself.

Thanks to n3r0t for providing the video for Deadly Silence. Check out his world record speedrun of this game here: |Link|[www.speedrun.com]

Game completion achievements
These are all pretty self explanatory, so I won't bother putting anything more than the base description. Go ham.

Sheriff's Badge: Complete all levels of Chapter I.

Chef's Fork: Complete all levels of Chapter II.

Biker's Bandana: Complete all levels of Chapter III.

Soldier's Dog Tag: Complete all levels of Chapter IV.

Apocalypse Untriggered: Complete the game in story mode.

Heaven's Finest: Reach level 30 with Harry.

Devil's Daughter: Reach level 30 with Judy.

Handshake: Finish a level in co-op mode.

Double Trouble: Finish all chapters in co-op mode.

Skilled Completion
Pro Gamer: Finish one non-tutorial level without dying.

A-grade Student: Finish all levels with an A grade.

Supreme Warrior: Finish all levels with an S grade.

God's Trigger: Collect all achievements.
Combat Achievements
Any achievement that has a mechanic covered in the tutorial is marked with an asterisk(*). I've described the rest of the mechanics to the best of my ability.

General Kills
The Number of the Beast: Kill 666 enemies.
You will get this over the course of natural play.

Executioner: Perform 10 executions.
Executions can be preformed on stunned enemies by pressing "R" on them. The simplest way to stun enemies is by opening doors into them, though multiple abilities and weapons have a stun effect.
Eyes on the Prize: Kill 20 marked enemies.
Mark enemies with "V" and kill them.*

Silence is Golden: Stealth kill 20 enemies.
Walk behind an enemy and press "R" without being seen.*

Great Minds Think Alike: Make 30 Synchro Kills while playing in co-op mode.
I'd leave a tip for this, but I haven't played co-op. If I ever do, I'll edit this.

Talent for Violence: Perform a 5x combo kill.
See Combo King.

Natural Born Killer: Perform a 10x combo kill streak.
See Combo King.

Combo King: Perform a 20x combo kill streak.
Besides just racing through a level and racking up combos quickly, the most reliable way to get this one is to pull an enemy with you into the ambush before the final fight of Chapter 5 Level 4. Nineteen enemies are summoned in, so pull one from elsewhere in the clock.

Harry-Specific
Never Saw Him Coming: Kill 3 enemies at once when using the Invisibility ability.
This is Harry's first ability. Hit 1 to select while playing.*

Time Bandit: Freeze 6 enemies in time simultaneously using the Time Freeze ability.
This is Harry's second ability. Hit 2 to select while playing. Time Freeze has a very short range, even when upgraded. Get as close as possible to a group of enemies before using it, and hope that you get the achievement before dying.
Use the Force: Smash 10 enemies against the wall with the upgraded Holy Push ability.
This is Harry's third ability. Hit 3 to select while playing. Knocks down enemies in a cone. The push can be upgraded at level 27 to crush enemies. Use the upgraded ability close enough to a wall to get credit towards this achievement.
Keep the Change: Kill 30 enemies with a deflected bullet using the upgraded Divine Shield ability.
This is Harry's fourth ability. Hit 4 to select while playing. The shield can be upgraded at level 29 to deflect bullets. Get thirty reflect kills for the achievement.
The Holy Bubble: Catch 30 enemies in a trap using the Time Bubble ability.
This is Harry's fifth ability. Hit 5 to select while playing. This achievement only requires thirty total enemies to enter your bubble, not thirty at once.

Hold the Door!: Kill 5 enemies by knocking out doors with Harry's upgraded dash ability.
At level 18 you may choose to upgrade Harry's dash in one of three ways. Choose the appropriate upgrade and kill five enemies with Harry's dash.

Judy-Specific
Not the Demon You're Looking For: Make Mind Control possessed opponents to kill 30 other enemies.
This is Judy's first ability. Hit 1 to select while playing.*

Vacuum Cleaner: Suck 6 enemies into a single vortex using the Dark Vortex ability.
This is Judy's second ability. Hit 2 to select while playing. The vortex launches out from Judy, collecting all enemies in its path into its center, stunning them and carrying them with it. To get this achievement simply catch six enemies in it at once.
Trickster: Confuse enemies with the Mirror Image ability 30 times.
This is Judy's third ability. Hit 3 to select while playing. This ability creates multiple images of Judy that confuse enemies that see them. Spam the ability whenever enemies can see you and you will eventually land this achievement.
Rest in Pieces: Kill 30 enemies with the Exploding Corpses ability.
This is Judy's fourth ability. Hit 4 to select while playing. This ability appears as a ring around Judy, highlighting all corpses within it. Hit "LSHIFT" to detonate small explosions from each corpse. Use it enough times and you'll net this achievement.
Hot as Hell: Kill 4 enemies at once with an exploding projectile shot through the Fire Wall.
This is Judy's fifth ability. Hit 5 to select while playing. At level thirty you may upgrade the ability in one of two ways. Choose the appropriate upgrade and kill four enemies in one flaming shot to get this achievement.
Get Over Here!: Steal 30 weapons using Judy's upgraded chain.
At level 13 you may choose to upgrade Judy's chain in one of two ways. Choose the appropriate upgrade and kill thirty enemies with Judy's chain while not holding a secondary weapon. You can hit "E" to drop a secondary weapon.
Telekiller!: Kill 5 enemies with Judy's upgraded teleport ability.
At level 18 you may choose to upgrade Judy's teleport in one of three ways. Choose the appropriate upgrade and kill five enemies with Judy's teleport.
Level Specific Achievements
Below are the six achievements I'll cover through the rest of the guide. I've included screenshots of notable locations, ordered by chapter and level.

Achievements
God Bless You: Find all of the hidden perk chests.
There are eight perk chests throughout the game.

Helljoy Amateur: Collect one full set of Helljoy Magazine pages.
See Helljoy Subscriber.

Helljoy Subscriber: Collect all Helljoy Magazine pages sets.
There is one magazine page in every non-boss level.

Kill 3 enemies with 1 shot of the revolver.
This can be easily completed in any chapter I level, excluding the boss level.

Sure Shot: Kill 3 enemies with a single sniper bullet in chapter III level 4.
Switch to Judy and wait for three enemies to be lined up.

Deadly Silence: Kill all enemies in chapter IV level 1.
This one will require a lot of trial and error, but after a few tries you should be able to get it. Here's a video of n3r0t's route for this achievement: |Link|
Chapter I
Level 1
On the right side of the map, just before the final room. If you get to the part where you push the car out of the way you've gone too far north, backtrack a few rooms and go out the right side door.

Right in the very first room of the set. Near impossible to miss. Grants "Combomania" perk.

Level 2
In the central area between the first two buildings. Break a few barrels beside where the top of the water tower falls. Be careful though, even after it falls the water tank can still kill you on contact.

Level 3
Just south of where the gatling gun starts shooting at you, on the left side.

While avoiding the gatling gun, on the left side just above the building with the magazine. Grants "Locked N' Loaded" perk.

Level 4
Right after the second large cage, on the far right.
Chapter 2
Level 1
After reaching one of the sections where doors are opened with locks (timed locks for Single Player, pressure pads for Co-Op), pay attention to the part of the wall below the bars that Judy can teleport through - Harry can dash through it, like through any other type of breakable wall.

On the right side of the map, in the area north of the first switch for the drawbridge and on the opposite side of the map from the second switch. Grants "Iron Skin" perk.

Level 2
After unlocking a part of the drawbridge leading to the exit of the level, a gate will unlock. While approaching it, notice yet another wall section where light shines through - dashing through it with Harry will allow you to enter a short obstacle course, at the end of which another magazine page awaits.

Level 3
After reaching an area full of enemies and barrels, notice yet another section of the wall where light shines through. Dashing through it with Harry will lead you to a pretty big complex of rooms full of enemies. Once you've dealt with them as you see fit, at the north eastern corner of that secret area, behind a set of bars, you can find another magazine page.

Immediately after your first encounter with the worm hop through the bars to the north. The bars on the right lead to a switch that unlocks the room on the left, which contains the perk chest. Grants "Piercing Bullets" perk.

Level 4
After unlocking a gate that lead to a room full of worm eggs, pay attention to the bars right at the bottom of the screen, once you enter that room. Teleporting through those bars with Judy will lead you to a small chapel where the last magazine page for this Chapter can be found.
Chapter 3
Level 1
To the right of the billard room, there are two storage rooms you get into. Behind a set of shelves, a magazine page awaits.

Level 2
At the very beginning of the level, where you start a car to ram your way into the party, look at the north wall; a wall section has light shining through. Dash through it with Harry to end up in a small room with another magazine page.

Level 3
As you progress through the level, you will encounter a conveyor belt-sort of contraption coming out of the wall; you can actually enter the tunnel it comes out of, where another magazine page awaits.

Right after the cutscene where the windows close on the sniper, head to the right. Grants "Ricochet" perk.

Level 4
This one is easy to miss. As you progress through the stage, you will encounter a room with a large furnace with metal slabs coming out of it - notice the opening under the catwalk; you can go there, and there you will find a magazine page in the corner of the room!

This one's right out in the open, just stick to the right side. Grants "Runner" perk.

Level 6
Once you reach the cart rails, you can actually enter the tunnel from which the carts come out of - you just have to make sure they don't hit you while you do it. At the very end of the tunnel, yet another magazine page awaits.
Chapter 4
Level 1
This magazine page is at the northwestern corner of the level - once you reach the actual exit from the level, to the northeast, keep going left - this is where you will find it.

Level 2
At some point in this level, you will encounter a room with a set of moving laser beams that form a rectangle as they ignite; you will have to turn them off by pushing a set of levers at the corners of that room, before getting access to a switch that deactivates them, at the center of the bottom wall. There, notice the bars at the bottom - by teleporting beyond them with Judy, you'll find yourself in a small area with the magazine page.

Level 3
At some point during this level, you will encounter a large conveyor belt that moves horizontally. Also, as you come to it, you will see several sets of moving presses on it, so there is no way to mistake it with another conveyor belt. If you move against the conveyor's movement, making sure not to get crushed by the presses, you will come to its end, where you can get off by moving under a catwalk you'll see there. Following the corridor that you'll find yourself in, you will find this tricky magazine page.

When you reach the conveyor belt before the server room, head along with it all the way to the left. Grants "Medic" perk.

Level 4
Towards the end of the level, you will find yourself in a room with a turret overlooking it from behind a fence (you should be able to see the magazine page from that room, even before being able to pick it up). You probably won't be able to get it until you deal with the soldier running away with the launch codes, so make sure to come back here. By teleporting behind the fence with Judy, you will be able to break through a set of breakable walls to access the last magazine page of this chapter.
Chapter 5
Level 1
When you reach this part of the level, with the shield-bearing enemies behind breakable walls, pay attention to this, easy-to-miss corridor. At the end of it, you will find the first magazine page.

This is right before the room where you free the horsemen. If you accidentally do the fight in that room, you can still head back and get the perk as long as you don't free all four horsemen. Grants "One More Bullet" perk.

Level 2
At some point during this level, you will come across a large room with pottery and in the midst of it all, you will be able to see a magazine page. The door to the room unlocks by pressing a button hidden under the leaf canopy nearby.

Level 3
After destroying the first artillery piece, a set of gates will unlock from which enemies will rush out to meet you. Once you manage to get near those gates, pay attention to the breakable wall you can dash through with Harry. Beyond it, you will find an area with grass, at the end of which you will find another magazine page.

Level 4
While trying to reach the last mechanism that will allow you to take control of the clock, you will be avoiding (mostly) turrets. Notice a small area that is out of your way, as you try to reach the mechanism; this is where the last magazine page is found, although you'll still have to make your way around the turrets' fire.

Thanks very much for the guide! A very easy place to get Combo King is Chapter 1 Part 3 (The Lead Tempest). Instead of using the gatling gun at the end of the level, fight the enemies by hand - there are 27 of them. You also go into slow motion for the last 10 or so. Using Judy makes it especially easy.

Oh don't worry, I didn't think you were, I just ended up having the time to finish it up. I probably wouldn't have gotten around to it for a while if you hadn't commented though, lol

Hey man, I wasn't chastising you or anything. This is your voluntary effort, don't let strangers pressure you. But thanks a lot :)

There we go, tonight was apparently the night. All perks and all magazines are now present in the guide.
Fall Thorne  [author] 9 Dec, 2019 @ 3:52pm
Yeah, I've been meaning to get back and finish the rest of the guide, I'm still missing that magazine and a bunch of the perk chests. I've been working 50-80 hour weeks recently and I haven't had a ton of time for games. :steamsad: I'll put some time into it this week, for sure!

You're missing the magazine for chapter 1 - level 4. Thank you for the guide!
