What I learned from the Tutorial
  • Get attributes to become stronger.
  • Make sure you don't steal attributes from your teammates that need them more.
  • Movement speed is very important.
  • Stay out of the F***ing water!
  • Chests = 100 gold.
  • Heroes = Lots of gold (depends on well they are doing.)
  • Don't cap a chest if you are low on health.
  • Ranged heroes can make you stop channeling attributes (so annoying!)
  • Skills are upgraded BETWEEN MATCHES.
  • Use auto buy, its SO NICE.
  • You don't have to right click everything!
  • Towers only attack when lit up (1 or more heroes out of spawning.)
  • You can track where your enemies are on-screen!
  • When you are dead, look at your enemy's locations so you can better direct your team.
  • Don't be afraid to get into the middle of a battle.
  • It seems like to me, that whoever gets the most chests wins, don't know if that's true all the time.
  • There is NO LATE GAME OR MIDDLE GAME STRATEGY! You must attack as a group and hope to kill them before you get killed.
  • Towers don't do enough damage to scare people away from attacking them solo.
Attributes
Every good Solstice Arena player gets as many attributes as possible. They are all good for every hero, and should be heavily used.

Sun is for: ranged and melee casters or heroes with primary damage as a spell.
Moon is for: melee tanks and carries (heroes with high attack damage and speed.)
Earth is for: carries
Iron is for: melee heroes
Void is for: carries

When you pick your hero, it should show what attributes they get more powerful by collecting. For example, if you pick Hamhock, you should see that he is a 100% Fighter hero. You should prioritize getting your hero's type attribute over others.
Strategy
  • Depending on your character, you should play differently. If you are ranged, stay back! If you are melee, go into the fray.
  • Heal your tanking people, or else they and you will die.
  • If you have an area attack, cast it to hurt the RANGED heroes.
  • Collect your attributes
  • Force the enemy into the river so you can escape or kill them.
  • High attack damage can turn the tide of the battle, even if you are a caster!
Hero Upgrades
The more you play a hero, the better their abilities are. As you play more, you win more battles because you, personally, and you're hero become more experienced. My suggestion is to try out a hero for five rounds (so you unlock them) then continue playing with them if you enjoy it. The best players only play one hero, so make sure you find one YOU like and stick with it. I personally plan ahead what I want more out of my hero, then upgrade accordingly.
Items
I don't have allot of advice about what items you should buy. I usually just buy the defaults with the "auto buy" feature. I hope Zynga adds a feature to change the automatic item list, so you can customize it without having to go into the shop menu. My advice is to Click that little check to buy items automatically when you leave your base, because it really helps remove time from the store that isn't needed. This game is supposed to be very FAST PACED, so you should figure out how to quickly and efficiently buy items on your own.
Disclamer
I know this is a short guide, but it is the only one so far. I hope you all enjoy playing Solstice Arena!
I am in no way affiliated with Zynga, Steam, or Valve

There ARE early game, midle, game and late game strategies.
Early:
Harrass carefully and finish isolated wounded prey. First blood means a lot to victory.
Middle:
Gold chests all the way and buy out the whole shop. Snatch kills as applicable.
Late:
Forget about gold completely. You should be fully geared up by now. Play defensive counterattack: wait at your oracle for enemies to try and tackle it, pwn them and if there are less than 2 enemies still alive — attack their oracle but be ready to retreat.

At all times collect YOUR or neutral attribute tokens actively.

It seems like to me, that whoever gets the most chests wins, don't know if that's true all the time. i disagree most of my wins dont even include my team getting the chest
