Riki (River City Girls)

Description
From the girls who brought you Kyoko and the other Kyoko, comes Riki!

A rough and tumble, no-nonsense type of guy, Riki has come to Rivals of Aether, looking for a fight! He's also trying to escape Kyoko, but don't tell her that.

A highlight of some moves:

Down special: One-Inch Punch. Landing this move causes your opponent to become stunned for a couple seconds, allowing you to follow up with a punish of your move of choice!

Up special: Flying Dragon Feet. A 3-hit combo of kicks that sends both Riki and his opponent high into the air. All 3 hits combo into each other, so have fun!

Forward special: Shadow Comb. Riki throws a comb forward, and if it hits an opponent, a series of afterimages will deliver a flurry of blows to the opponent, before Riki teleports to them with a triumphant hair flip.

Neutral special: Nutcracker, a command grab where Riki kicks the opponent twice in quick succession if you land it, the second hit sending the opponent directly upwards..

Taunt: Riki combs his pompadour. I only mention this here because the comb has a hitbox.

I suggest to make him looks more belong to roa as a whole char (the sprites, the potrait, etc.). It's still a good char somehow. Thanks btw.

Hello I have been enjoying Riki a lot in this game and his animations are super duper smooth I mean very good smooth to you guys did a good job with him.

But I thought it seemed odd that there was only Riki, Kyoko, and Misako and was wondering is there any plans to do Kunio in the future?

If not that is fine I enjoy the characters that are already here but was mostly just wondering as a complete set wise.

Could you make an alternate costume based on Miky from Tokyo Revengers? I first thought its him cause they look so similiar, id even spend money on it lol

On the topic of Nutcracker, you can very easily wobble off of it if landed while aerial. The stun is great enough to hit another Nutcracker (or even a down-b), which guarantees a kill as long as you have an attention span. Ontop of this, Orcane's hurtbox changing allows an even easier wobble using just nb and downb while grounded.
To fix this issue (if you deem it an issue), all you need to do is reduce the hitstun on the hits to only just let the next hit connect. That way if it whiffs, the opponent won't be locked for long enough to wobble.

Hey dk if you know this, but through hurtbox-shifting the nutcracker command-grab can connect without having any of the followup-hits connecting. Results in the opponent being stunned even after riki whiffed all his hits, so it's kind of a downb effect.

I don't mind it, it's almost like a very situational advanced technique, just wanted to let you know because I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.

For any future readers of this: I've changed Riki's neutral special. It is now Nutcracker, a command grab where Riki kicks the opponent twice in quick succession if you land it.

You should look at the Kris project for a guide on making meter., since RCG has one. I also posted a comment on your Kyoko project about how to do it too, it's surprisingly easy!
