High Elves Spearmen Concept Art Shields

Greetings fellow Total War players, I am pleased to give you a new mod for Warhammer 2.

This time I am doing something a little different from my previous mods, but still in the same category, namely fixing things I feel is missing or not right with Warhamme 2.

I have not been very pleased with the way shields look for the High Elves Spearmen. The red color that shows up on the shields does not really seem to fit with the style of the High Elves. And the Gold trimming did not really match the center symbol.

And I stumbled over a really awesome concept art piece by one of Creative Assemblys own artists Danny Sweeny, whom I have taken my inspiration from.

What does this mod do?

• This changes the colors on the High Elves shields to white to match more with their clothing and style.
• Some minor alterations to fix some alignment issues with the vanilla texture.

How compatible is the mod?

• Should be fully save-game compatible
• Should work even when the game is updated unless CA changes very specific weapon files.
• It is not compatible with mods that alters the High Elves Spearmen and the textures for the shields.

Any known bugs or issues?

• None that I am aware off.

Recomendations

• Considering how CA messed up the color scheme for Lothern in the campaign I recommend using a mod that changes the colors to be the same as used in custom battles. I have made a mod for this, but it will also work with other mods that changes faction color templates.
