Eden's Wrath Engineering Beginner Guide

About Eden’s Wrath Engineering
EWE is a complete overhaul for game play. The mod brings a new depth to crafting and progression. Players will have to explore for a wide range of Elements to build components. There are roughly 68 Elements to refine from over 100+ Ores. All ores are derived from naturally existing compounds. Players can craft over 200+ components. There are many different types and tiers for blocks. The goal for EWE is to add depth to the survival, create new challenges, realism, and make the game more about engineering.

Where To Begin?
Players starting out will face many challenges. Players will have to explore for resources. With the vast amount of ore, players will need to gather many different types of ore to build with. The more a player explores the more possibilities they will have at finding enough ore deposits to gather all the needed Elements to begin production.
Production
Production advances through multiple stages. The Survival Kit is set up to handle all basic needs. The early stages of production are slow; you will need to build a Basic Assembler and a Small Basic Refinery (I would recommend to prioritize the Refinery). Once a Refinery is built, Ore will automatically be refined and free up the Survival Kits production for building resources. There are many Assemblers that will be needed to have full production capabilities. My progression path that works well for me follows as:

Small Basic Refinery -> Basic Assembler -> Advanced Assembler -> Large Basic Refinery -> Chemical Reactor -> Large Advanced Refinery -> Basic Mass Assembler -> Mass Chemical Reactor -> Large Elite Refinery -> Advanced Mass Assembler -> Nuetron Collider -> Mass Nuetron Collider.

Survival Kit - refine all Ores and builds Construction Components, Basic Mechanical Components, Basic Electronics, Fluids, and Alloys.

Basic Assembler - builds Construction Components, Basic Mechanical Components, Basic Electronics, and Tools.

Advanced Assembler – builds Advanced Mechanical Components, Advanced Electronics, Weapon Components, Ammo, and Tools.

Chemical Reactor – builds Fluids, Alloys, and Fuel Rods.

Nuetron Collider – Converts Elements into different Resources.

Mass Assemblers – build larger batches of components. Larger Batches will build the total amount of components faster than individually built.

Time Multipliers per Stack:
1X 100% Time per Unit (1 Girder ~ 2sec = 2sec/Girder)
10X 50% Time per Unit (10 Girders ~ 10sec = 1Sec/Girder)
100x 25% Time per Unit (100 Girders ~ 50sec = 0.5sec/Girder)

Evaporators and Synthesizer are used to convert Liquids to Gases.

Powering Grids
Early Game will require good power management. My First week playing and testing the mod, I forgot to manage my power consumption rates and drained my voyagers power and fuel sources. The next four days my Voyager ran off of solar power as I was very strict on how much power I consumed to prevent wasting power while trying to recharge the ships Capacitor Banks (Batteries). I ended falling behind other members testing the mod in production capacity due to the lack of available power for exploring needed resources. If a player runs complete out of power, they could grind down any battery on their grid and rebuild it. All batteries return all components and when first built, they have a small charge. Current Power Progression:

Batteries & Solar/Wind -> Hydrogen Engine -> Gasoline Engine -> Jetfuel Engine -> Thorium Reactor -> Uranium Reactor -> Plutonium Reactor -> Fusion Reactor.

Gasoline is crafted in the Chemical Reactor and needs to be converted in the Gasoline Synthesizer.

Jetfuel is crafted in the Chemical Reactor and needs to be converted in the Jetfuel Synthesizer.

All Reactors now use Fuel Rods

All Power Blocks have 3 tiers in the progression paths.
Building Grids
Everyone has their own unique play style and grid designs. With EWE don’t be too ambitious and take on a massive build or Elite/high end blocks early game without production/logistic support for the undertaking. The time wasted trying to build something out of you production scope will take far longer than if you slowly ramp up production and progress through the tiers.
Exploration
Ores on Planets spawn in a wide dept of ranges. Ores are primarily located near mountains or under lakes. Ores can spawn near the surface around 6 meters deep and can be found down to 650 meters deep. To Survey planets for ore it is recommended to have a ship with an ore detector. If just Starting out, if you find an ore deposit near the surface there is likely ore down deep beyond your scanning range. Dig tunnels down around the location to survey for other ores near by. Players will have to Travel to Space, Europa, and Alien Planet to mine native ore found in these locations.

Space and Europa are the only locations to Find Colored Ice which contains “Noble Gasses”. Each Planet/Moon has a theme for resources. Earth is normal blend of ores. The Moon is more Composite Ores with an Aluminum focus. Mars is an Iron focused Planet. Europa well it hasn’t changed. It’s still an ice planet with the only source for Xenon. No Pure Ores will spawn on Europa, only Composite Ores. Alien Planet is a Radio-Active Ore focus as well as having the only sources for Radium and Neon.

I don't found how to build reactor component

@Roastedthegamer2 Your correct about the "start" definition. The depth refers to how many voxels thick you would expect any deposit to be.

You know on the spreadsheet with all the elements, sources and blocks used. On the section where it shows planetary specific ores, it has a start and a depth. Can you explain what these both are. Im assuming depth is the first instance you would see the ore but what is the depth?
