You can also use any two up or down attacks and then three neutral attacks, although this lowers his overall DPS.
Sadly his best combo, which is just three action points spent on neutral attacks does barely more than half the damage of Yan's five point neutral attack combo and despite using only 3 actions is still slower to recharge.
His Iddhi moves do less damage than those of several other characters, like Baozhai, Razmi, Kampan or critically Ajna (with 5 or 7 Iddhi) who is always in the party. Even if he's in your party you're still better spending your limited Iddhi with a different character. When he's not spending Iddhi his damage is truly pitiful, only about 35% to 40% of Kampan's.
For single target the on paper highest DPS party (because it requires more real time and more skill to use) in any fight that lasts more than a couple of rounds is Kampan+Zahra with either Latigo (if you've done his personal quest), Yan (if you haven't done Latigo's personal quest) or a healer (if you want a healer), where Ginseng is the obvious choice for quality of life and healing power.
For AOE DPS the highest is Ren+Zahra with Leilani or a healer.
None of this really matters though, as by the time you can even get Kampan or Ren you can basically 1 turn everything with AOE. For ease of use you can look to something like Ren+Tungar/Lanshi+Leilani.
For various reasons I haven't fully tested Dhar, so he may sneak in somewhere.
It's also difficult to quantify the exact effects of the combo bonus that puts Leilani well ahead of Lanshi when you actually test a full party, but Lanshi ahead of Leilani when you test characters 1 at a time.
If you factor in Iddhi and AOE then he's better DPS than Kushi, maybe Ginseng, maybe Thorani, maybe Razmi (her best use is just to D-attack and Iddhi-3 in combo with virtually no other attacks) and about the same as Naga rider. Three of those are the healers, the other two are the worst two DPS characters.
I guess that makes him around about 19 out of 21 for DPS in overall terms.
Hunoch's attacks also generate virtually zero Iddhi, which also costs a lot of damage over time.
Even Ajna's DAAAA combo (where Ajna is only middlish of the pile for DPS) does 20% more DPS than Hunoch, even assuming you never fluff any of Hunoch's attacks. It again generates much, much more Iddhi.
Given how easy guard breaking is (one character uses D attack while another uses U attack, and Ajna should *always* be starting with a D attack anyway) Hunoch ends up being bad even when played to the max of his ability.
