Description
[Vanilla|Survival Ready|No Subgrids]

A simple gatling gun to attach to large grid ships via a rotor.

The R-80 Hammer is a solid choice for any medium sized ship. Thanks to the integrated cargo container it can even hold all the needed ammo without having to build an extra ammo storage on the main ship.

-fully conveyored
-attached via advanced rotor
-no scripts needed

Some stats:
-Blocks: 71
-PCU: 995
-Mass: 5.8 t
-8 gatling guns

How to use:
-Build an advanced rotor on your large ship (leave some space for the gatling gun)
-Delete the rotor head
-Paste in/ project&weld this blueprint
-Attach it to the rotor (terminal->rotor->attach) (easiest with a tugboat)
-Rotate rotor to desired angle (probably straight forward)
-Lock rotor
-To shoot simply move the gatling guns into the toolbar (works the same way as with small ships)

Some tips:
-In creative, paste it in while slowly moving towards the rotor, then quickly attach it when it arrives
-Don't lock the rotor before you attach it, it might summon clang
-The connector works perfectly fine, you can use it (connecting with 'P' does not work though, do it from the terminal)
-You can adjust the offset of the rotor as you like

Thats exactly what I made them for :D
I will update the Kite and all my other ships in the future too, to use only these standardized guns.

Cool!

I'm going to be building a Kite in the not too distant future and this turret fits! Now I won't have to reverse engineer that ship's rotor mounts. I'll probably repaint them though.

Of course that's probably far from the only use I'll be putting these mounts to.
