Desperado Mk1 - Small Raider Scout Bike

This is a small raider scout bike built using Fireblade's Bike Wheel set and Khorne Syrup's Bike cockpit.

The rear triplle wheels in the back provide ppropulsion (and ensure the thing doesn't just fall over the second you place it on the ground and the front wheel provides steering.

The bike uses a set of 5 Gyroscopes. 4 are grouped together and are set to stabilise the bike and 1 is set seperately and is used to help steer. This is essential in tight turns as the bike tends to try and fall over (and that is a guaranteed kaboom). The Gyrospcope allows the driver to compensate for this with the roll keys as well as make the turns tighter using the mouse. It can also be used to perform wheelies! The main gyroscope group can be switched to manual control, for example to help flip the bike if it's on it's side but you should be VERY carefull when doing this.

The speed is limited to 120 kph but you shoudl be able to safely crank it up higher on even terrain. The uspention has also proven to withstand small jumps. Very steep hills can be problematic but the gyroscope helps with getting around uneven terrain.


Power is supplied by 3 small batteries (should be enough for about an hour of driving). A rotor head on the back of the bike can be used to plug into another grid for recharging. Make sure the bike is properly lined up with the rotor on the other grid. If the rotor it is too low to the ground the results can be....explosive. It is recomended to use a small grid for the recharging station or put the bike on a piston driven platform so it can be aligned more precisely.


Additionaly the bike is fitted with a small cargo container in the back, an antenna and an ore detector for all your scouting needs.

There is also a spotlight acting as a headlight and 2 interior lights acting as positioning lights. These are wired in the cockpit so they can be turned off quickly.
