Summary
This is a THEORY.

In this guide I will talk (mostly) about my theory about this game full of secrets, bad jokes, blood and bacon.

This guide can also help you become a better player, be a little more interested in the game and above all it might be interesting to know a new story. But this is not my focus (I think).

This guide is separated into several topics.
Some explain about game characters, events, places, secrets, and others are just me rolling around and telling about personal things.

Disclaimer!

1- I'm using google translator almost for everything (I'm brazilian and i understand a little english but not enough to write that much) so you will see some spelling errors;

2- I have a lot of ideas and sometimes I can mess it up. It may happen that I shuffle everything as I will try to explain all the ideas I have "separately". I didn't write it all in one day either. This can greatly affect the order of things. Just as I didn't write everything in order (like skipping to the easy part and making the hard part later). (I plan to create new separate guides for the different theories I have);

3- If you know something I don't know, It would help a lot to tell me anyways possible. Even if it is in another language, we are blessed by the internet and so I can translate what you said to me in your language so that you can express yourself more freely. (Although it may be that you do not understand English... sooooo... how are you reading this?!);

4- I would like you to read this. Oh really. This is hard. And of course you can leave your Like before or after reading, maybe right now, just like sharing and favoriting.
Me and the game. ( Skip this part if you think personal things of mine are irrelevant)
I played it for a year and then stopped, and then came back (although I only have a few hours of play, but I played a little each day
and I consider it a long time).

I know a lot of things about the game. Be it more basic things like playing it and these "secrets" that everyone knows, or things that almost nobody knows or doesn't know how to do.

I met it through a Brazilian youtuber (after all I'm Brazilian), and bought it on impulse. I do not regret it. In fact I find it impossible to regret it, after all you just bought a really cool game for an extremely low price.

In the game I met friends, who played together for a long time. Not only this game but also others, that is, this game also helped me build my "gamer personality" and my likes for other and future games.

At this time I just wanted to distract myself, either alone or with friends, just to pass the time or to achieve "personal" achievements (like trying to somplete every day on hard, something that doesn't have a steam achievement) or steam achievements.

But then I stopped for a while. One of my friends introduced me to another game, and eventually Blood and Bacon became repetitive, and the other game seemed so different that I I started playing less BaB and went to the other.

I won't say the name of the game, it would be like talking about one brand of fast food inside another.

But I can not resist. I love to write! (I mean, sometimes, about some things)
In the other game I met most of my steam friends. It was there that my attraction to shooting games got even bigger.
I was also attracted to the fact that it's a multiplayer game, it's 2d and it has pixelated graphics, simulating gun jammings.
But most of all, he was addictive and at the same time repetitive (just like BaB), had such a low number of players that every time I joined a game I always saw the same people, who eventually became my "friends" (kind of like BaB, but this game actually had a very low number of players for a multiplayer game, while BaB offers singleplayer mode, thus decreasing the number of lobbies).
In this game (let's call it "2D" from now on) I literally developed part of my personality.
I played it for about 2 years, but of course, just like BaB, I stopped playing several times and then came back, which is why I only have 700 hours while some of my friends have 2000 hours in it.
It was in the middle of this time that I began to be attracted to storytelling, either from scratch or based on something.
This "something" was then the 2D game. I had been playing it for a long time, over and over, just like everyone else, but almost no one stopped long enough to observe the atmosphere of the game and its possible history. It was something post-nuclear and post-Soviet, something more complex had to have happened. But it was an unpopular game, focused almost entirely on the bang-bang, so no one would care much about that.
To me that was kinda sad. I wanted a singleplayer story mode, because that was not only going to be interesting, but it would also make the game live longer, even offline, after all something was going on with my favorite game, something very sad, and everyone knew it was going to happen...
...
...and it happened. The number of players dropped so much that regional servers have been removed, due to the fact that the number of new players income was low and they never coming back to play later. Only the "veterans" continued, but when they removed their regional servers, they were gone too. And then, just yesterday (10/27/2019), theres an announcement. In the announcement, the developer thanked everyone, and explained that the game would no longer be updated for an indefinite time from now on.
Honestly, I had stopped playing it a long time ago, and had gone back to playing BaB, and everyone expected it to die. So meh, there are my hopes and memories gone, and it's only a matter of time before it dies completly.

But lets go back to Blood and Bacon (just like I did a time ago, IRL).
I think this may be harder to do with BaB.

Blood and Bacon had a very powerful "hype". Several famous youtubers have recorded videos about the game, further increasing the number of new players, making the game almost immortal. Even if the servers died, we would still have singleplayer mode, enough to keep you "partially" alive.

When I came back from the other game (something quite recent actually) I had done almost everything in the game. But my progress had been reset. But I didn't find that very bad. One more thing to distract me. After winning it all again, and finally after years of trying to complete the game's achievements (all I had to do was the 30th day on Hard, with 4 people and some achievements from the newly added space) I started attracting myself to the story behind the game.

In lobbies I taught strangers how to do certain things I knew and almost nobody else knew (usually noobs), or I just ruined their game by throwing grenades at them in the middle of the game.

I began to put together the pieces of new things that I now carefully observed, along with those of the "old" memories from 1 or 2 years ago, seeking to create a theory about the game.
I searched Youtube, the game Wiki, the game itself (obviously) things that could help with my theory.

And here we are.
The Farm: Where it is & What it is.
In this section I will tell you what I think this place is, where it is, and so on.

1- The farm is actually a kind of dimension / hell, and can be a meeting point between various dimensions, receiving various souls of different dimensions and probably of different species
and the farmer is a kind of entity responsible for the dimension. Or more likely, something trapped inside her. He uses you to punish these souls. And eventually releases him, or else complete another goal of it, or just feed it or entertain it. But he's using you in some way.

2- The farm was a regular farm until a biological disaster happened, involving the grain. The farmer is responsible for this, but it's just an ordinary madman. Now we need to get rid of mutant pigs.
The events are comical, and unrealistic, explaining the Viking, the Skeleton and other things.

3A- The farm is a normal farm. But what happened inside her was abnormal. A farmer was turning people into pigs with modified grains, and then slaughtered them to sell meat. One day the "pigs" rebel. The pigs write messages alerting the player about the farmer at night. Farmer just wants everything to go back as it was before, so he can sell "meat" again. The farm has a dark past because of this, and it also justifies the atmosphere full of secrets.

3B- 3A + He wants to destroy the world. Kinda comical and unrealistic.

3C- 3A + Farmer is not just a bad person who turned people into pigs. He became or was always an entity. It may be a ghost, or it may have been affected by the grain it created, or there may be different "grains", justifying the pigs, the farmer, skelly and viking to be alive after death. That is, the farmer may have become something "supernatural" thanks to something (probably) involving the grain, with the help of science or magic. So he's kinda immortal, or a haluccination

3D- 3A + 3B (kinda of) + 3C + After some event, the farmer (entity) became very powerful. And eventually (probably) "transcended" and destroyed the earth, as we can see in 3019. Maybe it's not Earth But I'm so tired of writing different possibilities.
The Pigs (or Boars, whatever).
In this section I will try to explain what pigs (or boars) are, either in a literal or
representative / figurative sense.

1A- If my theory that the farm is a kind of hell is the most plausible, then they are a kind of reincarnation of the souls of bad people (probably not just people, maybe other alien species, since there are various dimensions and the farm could be a "meeting point" between several dimensions), who must now suffer physical pain as punishment (or another kind of punishment), perhaps thus feeding (the entity) Farmer McDigg, or making it stronger, freeing him from imprisonment (something that can be normal, or something very bad), or just letting him live longer somehow.

Oh yes of course. My main argument for this multidimensional theory is some parts that i found, which cite something like "Boars Dimension" on the Wiki talking about Daisy Dee, a woman from elsewhere, that is not our Earth. And maybe a little because of the viking. I do not know why. But meh everything seems to fit the multi-dimensional theory.

2A- If the farm is a "common" farm on Earth, this would go against "various" information involving the characters and certain events.
The pigs could only be mutants, resulting from pigs that ate the grain modified by Farmer McDigg. What if McDigg was a boar meat breeder and seller, and decided to increase production with modified products?
What if something had gone wrong, like the pigs got too smart, too strong, too fast, that they rebelled and decided to destroy the silo because there were pigs addicted to the grain?

2B- What if...coming back from the theory that "pigs" aren't what they seem to be...McDigg was turning people into pigs, killing them, and then selling their meat?
And now some "pigs" have become smart and rebelled. They destroyed the silo, so that no one else eats the grain in the future. They could also have made the Blood Writings that appear in the nights, in which two of them speak "that no one should eat this grain" and that "the farmer eats of his own kind" (after all, the pigs were people).
Now that I'm reading this again, it makes a lot of sense.

1B- This last part could also somehow fit my multi-dimensional theory.
In another dimension, there was a farmer who turned people into pigs. They rebelled. And then the characters came, some of different sizes, some of the same from the farm (the cops Johnny and Lando). (Briefly as ♥♥♥♥)
The Characters (Part 1)
In this section I will try to explain the story behind each character, based on information I saw, or based on my creativity (this last one I'll mark as spoiler).

I will be honest with you. Much of the conflict is being caused between the game's Wikia Fandom, and official game stuff. In the end I think we should believe more in theories based on official things themselves, but let's face it, some things created here and there are cool, so that's why I stick to my various theories.

Farmer McDigg / Blurry Face:
Little is known about him. My theories usually tell about the present and at most a near past.

He may just be a guy who just doesn't die because the game is a joke. And that secrets are just jokes trying to be obscure, but deep down they're just jokes.

Or the game may have a comedy surface, but it may be a slightly more complex plot behind.
(And this is what I believe)

The farmer may have been a very bad guy who turned people into pigs using an abnormal grain that could be witchcraft or a science thing.

But he can also be a bad guy who did it, but an abnormal bad guy. He says he can read our minds. It may be a spirit, it may be an illusion, it may have silo affected by something (similar to) that is in the grain and is now an immortal being, waiting for its goals to be accomplished. These goals can be get the farm back to normal (basically go back to turning people back into pigs), become stronger, or break free in some way.

He may also be the devil in a dimension responsible for punishing or consuming souls and thus trying to fulfill his goals again.

Maybe it destroyed the earth and, now in 3019, we try to recover.

But no one knows for sure.
But everyone should know ... He's using us, and that's inevitable.
Go eat something! You are looking a little thin!
Eat the grain!

Daisy Dee:
Not much is known. In fact we hardly know anything about all the characters.
But apparently according to some information from the developer, the game and the game cards, she has always lived on the farm and the farmer seems to know her because he recognizes her old hat (which is inside the crypt). But one day she must have left and when she returned it was too late to help the farmer.

Johnny Blood:
It is known that he is a policeman who lost many things (probably his family, or something that was important to him) and so does not care much about the danger because he has nothing left to lose, is the partner of Lando Bacon, another policeman . Was responsible for answering the call for the "emergency" of the farm. Other than that little is known. Because they were called and police, this reinforces the Earthly Theory, because I don't think they would go to another dimension unless they are that dimension, or teleported to it in some way.

Lando Bacon:
He is known to be a vigilant-style cop (probably for solving cases with the use of lethal force), Johnny Blood's partner, and they both make a good match because one is explosive and the other is not afraid, so both are "tough guys". It was Johnny who answered the call, so he must have been hastily called by Johnny and followed him to the farm. Other than that little is known.

Creaky Skelly:
Little is known about him. Of course he is not normal. He may have been resurrected by something involving the grains, or something like that. It may have been something scientific, but apparently it's more likely to be magical. It may be related to the past of the farm. His Top Hat can be found on it, and in his card he wears a red "scarf" and a cigar (besides having one eye, unlike in the game he has none). I think that by relating the fact that some of the Hordes Modes tombs point to the 1700s and 1800s, it could be that it was some outlaw, or something like that, or at least someone of the time, who came across the farm and went into told something or something happened that made him "immortal". He may have been a cowboy because he seems to like revolvers and uses a belt for that too. When he dies in the game his skeleton goes black, as if by age, it also looks like something that burned. This may mean that the effect may be gone, and it may be that your bones begin to age as long as they have not previously aged, or they may begin to burn. But creating this up.
The Characters (Part 2)
Dead Viking:
Like everyone else, little is known about.
It is known to be a dead, resurrected Viking, that parts of his boat are scattered around the farm and rumored to have come from Greenland or Iceland. My theory is that he left his homeland, and set off on an adventure. Maybe his destination was uncertain and he was just exploring, or he got lost and came to a location where the farm is today. At the time it could be that it was possible to navigate through that region, explaining why there are pieces of his boat these days, or he carried his boat to dry land. If it ever died, it could be an accident involving your boat, an attack, or anything else. I believe his body remained there until a recent time when he was resurrected. If by scientific means, it may be buried, and then the soil has absorbed some substance that has resurrected it. But things can be even more interesting if magic exits in the Blood And Bacon universe. He could have been "killed" by an spell, or something like that, or could have been enchanted and destined for something (such as fighting this swine rebellion). Or it may just have been resurrected by some magic. Or, even more interestingly, it may be responsible for much of the magic and abnormal things we see today, as if it had created something or brought something to its lands, and still having effects to this day.
Perhaps responsible for his resurrection, Skelly's and perhaps even ScareCrow's, and perhaps some of Farmer's powers, such as reading minds and being immortal, and some capabilities of pigs.

Unknown (ScareCrow):
Not much is known about him. Not even in his wallet is his name shown (nor his social class, since he has no money ... in fact I think he is poor). But on his grave in Hordes Mode, it is written in the name of ScareCrow. Who he is, its almost impossible to know. "I think" is something supernatural (after all not all scarecrows that can shoot a MIRV and kill hundreds of pigs ... and walk). Around his neck, theres something that looks like a suicidal tie. Maybe it's possessed or haunted. It may be related to the past of the farm and the Farmer. I don't know if it matters or if it has anything to do with it, but it may be the scarecrow of the Farmer's joke when we shot the hidden target behind the fence near the barn at night and Hordes Mode (which the developer probably pulled out of a joke from a video of 5 years ago from Minecraft (I think it doesn't hurt to say the name of this game, right?)).

Robotee:
I literally know nothing about him. The game only gives you him at Hordes Mode Wave 20 and that's it. There is nothing referring to him that I know of. I think it's just a joke. If not, at most a creation of someone, someone has transferred their consciousness to a robot, or the robot is possessed, you know, I'm creating this without any info.
Incredibly, the most mysterious of the game.
Because we have nothing.

Golem Gogo:
Like his crypt (and like everyone), little is known about him.
At the entrance of his crypt, it has marked the year 1506, something that also occurs in other Hordes Mode tombstones, some of them from the 16th century. Perhaps he was a member of an ancient people who are responsible for the crypt. Perhaps it was revered by people or by these people. Perhaps the golden head was made in his honor, became a relic, and so a group of people began to worship this relic having a different meaning than just a golden sculpture, and then decided to protect this religious good within the crypt. This golden head can have magical powers, perhaps invoking its owner back or turning the person into its owner, or it can only be of historical or religious value. That is, either he was a great man, being venerated, or someone who commissioned a gold statue from his face to his colleague Ooga Booga, and after a while his statue began to be venerated. It may be that the statue may have been enchanted at the beginning or during some time, much later.

Astronaut:
He is known to be the protagonist of 3019, and who helps people. Also little is known. One of the rescued astronauts has no helmet, and his face is from Johnny. It may be that the astronaut we played in 3019 and what we earned as a reward and played on the normal farm are different astronauts.
But anyway, if this is really Johnny and not just a joke, he's become immortal somehow.
Maybe all astronauts are Johnny clones, as there is a clone machine at the base.
But I believe that the astronaut we win and play on the normal farm is just a toast or a joke and there was no relation to the lore of that time, only to the future.
Blood Writings
All the Blood Writings I could find. I will try to relate them to each other.

Note: They appear in random places each time the night is restarted. I already tested it. But there are specific places where they appear. Just look around all the farm walls.

05/07/2020 (D/M/Y) Update:
Removed the Screenshots, as i deleted them from my profile.
But i created a Guide just for them. Check it out bellow. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2145868113
Parts that "do not" fit ( Things that I mostly invented because I found "nothing" about)
Some things from Hordes Mode, like:

-The Witch:
We never heard of her in the game (I think). All we know is that (probably): She's involved with Hordes Mode, probably responsible for the pumpkin outbreak, for the endless night and that, after helping her indirectly by completing her cauldron, something like an offering, she gives us a helping hand.
Or, she's not responsible for the Endless Night, and she's just trying to help us, after all the pumpkins that (probably) were caused by one of her spells reappear and carry items that help the player, as well as the cauldron, the only thing left for me to explain would be the Endless Night, something that can be difficult (without me starting to invent things).

-The Crypt and "Golem Gogo":
I really don't know what to say about it. But I have a plan to start delving deeper, something I've constantly observed in both Hordes Mode and boss battles. Check it out bellow.

All I know is that the crypt holds things and is highly secure. There's an engraving pointing to 1509 on your door. I noticed other Hordes Mode tombs, and most of them point from 1500-1700 (maybe some 1800, but I don't think so), and some were horizontally inverted (I think this was a bug actually), and the most interesting : Most contain texts engraved on them. I researched one of them (I think it said "memento mori, 1702"), and it was in Latin, translating to something like "Remember you're going to die." The phrase may not be very important, but the fact that it is in Latin catches my attention and now I will try to find out what is written in other tombs, and even associated it with some boss talk. One of the lines is impossible to understand, seeming to be played backwards. I'll try to roll back first and see if it sounds like something. Then I'll see if the original audio is in latin. And if the audio resulting from the reversal is weird, I'll see if it's latin.

-Some information from Wikia Fandom and the game itself causes conflicts with each other. I prioritize the official information and that I observed myself. But I don't know how I was so silly not to see that the guys who edited the wiki took it as a joke! Seriously, I didn't know that Daisy Dee was the heir of the Jewish Galactic Empire and that she is an Israeli born Warhammer 40,000 enthusiast. But seriously, I believed that.

-Around 2016-2017 there were some people talking about sequels to the game, like BaB 2. The developer interacted with these people, and said that not only would there be a sequel, but also a prequel. He explains that in prequel, we would help the farmer build his farm, would have 3 new maps, new enemies and bosses, new weapons and pickups. But in another post talk about having 5 new maps, not three, and 5 new bosses. The title would look something like "Blood B4 Bacon" (or Blood Before Bacon). A player asks if the game would involve things like people being killed, political ideas and rappers. The developer said yes.
But by 2018, people wanted to know where the sequel was. The developer explains that BaB (1) took 2 years to develop.
For me all this is acceptable and I support you dear developer (no pressure), just as I read that you use a custom C # engine, although I don't know what it is right, it seems difficult and requires constant retouching.

But ... what about the sequel?
Is this BETA that we see in space in 3019 the sequel? If not, no problem. If so, as you may have read above, I have already created theories for how we got here. And it's in BETA, so I think there are a lot of things that will be added.

-I plan to explain the history of the 3 Skulls and the Red Suns. But little is known about that. There is a theory about the 3 Skulls I found and I left the link in the Sources and Recommendations section.
All Theories (most of them actually)
- I will separate (probably) the theories into:

(I will not create a guide for each theory listed here (probably). Most are just variations of each other. Maybe some are missing, but if I forgot these, they are probably just variations and / or not important to me.)

These multidimensional ones are mostly fan-based Wikia which is pretty inaccurate (IMO).

MD1- Multidimensional Theory:

MD1A- Abnormal Infernal Multidimensional Theory (farmer is an entity and is there to punish souls or is trapped);

MD1B- Normal Multidimensional Theory (farmer is "normal", but used modified grains);

MD1C- Normal Multidimensional Theory of Evil (farmer turns people into pigs);

MD1D- Abnormal Multidimensional Theory of Evil (Farmer turned people into pigs and turned itself into an entity, or was a entity the whole time);

MD1E- Abnormal Multidimensional Theory (Farmer is an entity sice the "start" and maybe possessed a farmer);

MD2- Multidimensional Theory and 3019:

MD2A- Teleportative Multidimensional Theory of 3019 (The farm is teleported to another dimension or to another place in space);

MD2B- Destructive Multidimensional Theory of 3019 (The farm did not go out of place, and everything was destroyed by something, probably the farmer or a war, perhaps against something unusual and / or abnormal);

MD2C- Colonial Multidimensional Theory of 3019 (This is not the real farm. And this different farm is in space, and we are colonizing another place, which may be in this dimension or another. Maybe this farm model was selected for the colony because the Farmer conquered the world and demands that the colony be made that way or because it's a joke).

1-Terrestrial Theory:
Terrestrial Theory is mostly based on official things and things that I discovered or think myself.

1A- Multative Terrestrial Theory (Farm is on Earth, Farmer used "special" grains (which IS scientific) that caused mutation of pigs, which were normal pigs. Maybe he mutates too and now is immortal);

1B- Abnormal Terrestrial Theory (Farm is on Earth, Farmer can be an entity or ghost, or something possessed, and the pigs have been mutated with "special" grains, which can be magical or scientific, maybe the Farmer got mutations too);

1C- Terrestrial Theory of Evil (Farm is on Earth, farmer uses science and turns people into pigs. Maybe he mutates too);

1D- Abnormal Terrestrial Theory of Evil (Farm is on Earth, farmer may be an entity or ghost who may have owned a farmer. He turns people into pigs with science or magic. Maybe he wasn't always abnormal).

2- Terrestrial Theory and 3019:

2A- Teleportative Terrestrial Theory of 3019 (The farm teleports from Earth and ends up in another place of our dimension, either scientifically or abnormally (we may teleport to other dimensions as well);

2B- Destructive Terrestrial Theory of 3019 (The farm we see in 3019 is the same as in the past and still on Earth. The Earth was destroyed by something, such as war, accidents or something abnormal, or by someone, who could be the Farmer (abnormal entity);

2C- Colonial Terrestrial Theory of 3019 (This is not the real farm. And this different farm is in space, and we are colonizing another place, which may be in this dimension or another. Maybe this farm model was selected for the colony because the Farmer conquered the world and demands that the colony be made that way or because it's a joke).
"Fun" Facts
A few remarks I would like to make that I think are interesting. Probably things I found, but not part of the game's Lore.

-The Hordes Mode tombs are inspired by other real-life tombs, which I can't tell if they really mark someone's grave, but I found someone recreating them and their images on a wiki and pinterest. See below (links can be found in the Sources Tab)

A guy also recreated the tombstones, this in 2015, so they must have existed before. I could show it, but all images are watermarked and blurry.

But I found the recreated Tombstones being used in a halloween assembly at a blogspot (link in Sources section). See bellow.

Questions
Questions to BigCorporation:

1- Could history change over time? Like, being influenced by new things like you're thinking about, or even people like me (not bragging) making Lores that you find more interesting than the true story behind the game?

2- I did it right? Like, I tried to address most of the possibilities. If I really do so well, which one is the most correct? And if possible, what combination of them can build something even more accurate?

3- What is it like to develop the game? Of course it's hard, but I was wondering how you feel, like proud and stuff? And sometimes you feel unwilling to develop the game and stop for a while, or are you already thinking of stopping?

4- Why are you gay?

5- (Optional) Could you write a text telling, like, how you started to come up with the idea for the game (if there really was one from the beginning or if you were just creating a game), what motivated you to continue, some things that happened during that that affected you and your relationship with game development, a few remarks you would like to make, like something you saw and found interesting and tried to recreate and would like to talk about? (Basically I would like you to recreate the "Me and The Game" section but it would actually be you writing about yourself, the game development, the game itself, how you feel, and things you would like to tell. But you don't have to answer that question. Nor am I asking you to reply already with a text ready in the comments. But if you want. You decide how and where it will be. It can be here in the comments, a DM, or even an Announcement for everyone to read, or just answer "No, I can't" or "Yes, I could, but I don't want".)

6- Is there anything that you think has little information in the game or somewhere on the internet, so it can't be explained completely or in a more complex way? Like secrets like the 3 Skulls, the Red Suns, etc?

7- Is there anything you would like to say already that is just a joke or not at all, and that may be or will hinder or distract future Lores? Like, the phrases that bosses speak when regenerating, which you say were just gibberish, while I was already trying to reverse, translate from different languages (mainly Latin) and try to understand something they spoke?

8- Does your mom know you’re gay?

Questions for Random Readers:

1- Would you like to point out an error or something missing? What is it?

2- Are you tired of reading? Do you think I wrote in an unnecessary amount? Got too repetitive?

3- Why are you reading all this and and haven't liked this yet? Just like you didn't favorited and shared?
