Welcome to a Space Engineers world created by MisFit Studios

This version of the Caves world was built for anyone to use and make their own.

This Caves world is used in one of our many Protocol 51 scenarios that are currently still in development.

To Add this to your world follow these directions
1) Backup Both Saves
2) Add the two Mods found in this world save to your world.
3) Locate both saves in your directory example
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\76561198030953024\CAVES (protocol 51) World Only by MisFit Studios
4) Copy all Drukulara-....vx2 planet files and paste it into your other
world save folder.
5) Copy from SANDBOX_0_0_0.sbs from P51 Caves save the following
" <MyObjectBuilder_EntityBase xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_Planet">
<SubtypeName />
<EntityId>-6429028780961838834</EntityId>
<PersistentFlags>CastShadows InScene</PersistentFlags>
<Name>Drukulara-1d120000--6429028780961838834</Name>
To the end of </MyObjectBuilder_EntityBase>" --- note it was to long
to copy all the stuff into here
Do this for all 12 planets.
6) Delete your SANDBOX_0_00.sbsB5 file and load up your world.
This will spawn the caves around 0,0,0
7) If You want o Move the Caves you need to change the
location of all 12 planets relative to your move.
8) Please remember to give credit to misfitstu.com if you plan to
use these caves, thank you.

crashed every time i try to load this up. what gives?

I've never had probs with messing with any files before but I must have drank something laced with crack cause this ain't making no sense but everyone else seems to understand. The only thing I'm having a problem with is my mental disintegrating as i reach the only step by step guide I cant understand and I've put together IKEA level of instruction manual furniture. "Locate both saves" First off all following the steps there is no saves at all. Taking initiative i went to the community area and found world one so that's one down. On to the second... Okay does he mean a blank world, earth world. system world, duplicate world. personal save, a world with just a LED display with a dinosaur on? I must be blind but between step 1 that is not step one it would be i presume step 3 cause you need to create 2 worlds first (I assume) By step 3 I decided **** this and read a latin astrophysics book upside down in the dark and had more success. Am I A- Dropped as a child, or B- These steps suck.

@djslim_sa1 You really just need to backup your own world save. Its really just to make sure you don't screw up your only save when trying to follow my instructions. Backing up the mod was the second save I was talking about, but its not necessary because you can always just delete the workshop item and re-download it.

question what do you mean both saves do you make a backup copy of your save twice or is there meant to be a different thing used that first set may not be stated right or is there meant to be a save with drukulara enhanced for caves world and another save with protocal 51 caves please example also will this work on a gave server where you can only have 1 save

@Rex the ODST - It will work right out of the box if you load it up -- you just won't have any other planets besides the caves, and it will only be the caves and that is all. This is why I included instructions on how to add it a world of your own so people can be flexible with how they want to play. I have had plans for a while to revisit this and release one that could be part of a simple scenario that included many other planets (earth, mars ...) but in that case it would have to come with some other mods included to make it make sense and look/work right. --- basically this was a proof of concept mod that I was hoping to grow on some day when work wasn't so busy! :) Hope you enjoy it!

So you have to go to the world files to get the caves to work? You can't just subscribe and play in game?

@thegrandseraph the race event is directly related to the survival server. Many of the features used in the race are actually test runs for the survival server.
