Description
UNSC Firebase Unit [Reactor][Basic Reactor]
[Source: Halo Wars]

The UNSC Firebase is a prefabricated base of operations used by the UNSC Marine Corps in combat zones or locations that are otherwise hostile.

The UNSC developed modular firebases due to lessons learned in the early days of the Human-Covenant War, in which large UNSC military installations proved vulnerable to orbital bombardment. The Firebase combines the needs of a tactical communications, a command center and expansion into both a barracks and a production facility capable of assembling combat vehicles. The Firebase unit itself is a variant of the old colony starter units constructed out of polycrete and powered by a small hydrogen reactor. Because gaining a foothold quickly was key to fighting insurrections throughout the colonies, ships can directly deploy the entire assembly unit of a Firebase via large dropships such as the D20 Heron or D81-LRT Condor, making it immediately useful. This ability proved invaluable in the ongoing war with the Covenant and was often considered a key advantage of the UNSC on the ground.

Firebase Unit [Reactor][Basic Reactor]

Basic reactor: 250 resources, each additional unit bought costs 250 more than the previous amount."Increases tech level."

The reactor is a United Nations Space Command structure used to power a prefabricated Firebase unit.

Prefabricated firebases contain a fusion reactor powered by reactions between hydrogen isotopes. The reactor allows a UNSC Firebase to operate very sophisticated systems. These reactors are modular allowing for quick setup. In order to meet a firebase's power requirements, the reactor has the ability to place an additional power unit on the other socket present on the base of the structure. These reactors are only employed on older "Pod" firebases, as more modern firebase designs are capable of only relying on generators to meet their power requirements.

Wow, this is terrific work, I think someone has way too much time on their hands, but this is awesome, especially if you've actually created the other stuff.

@EPICDUDE365 the interior is probably not done yet.

by the look of two of the screenshots, you seem to have already completed most of them, are you going to wait until the air pad is complete and then upload them all at once or...?

@Torgenator UMU!!!!

@Emiricol4Rl, thank you very much! And do stay tuned! I plan on releasing a lot more UNSC Firebase components in the coming weeks!

@Tom Foolery, this structure is already ready to be inserted into one of the firebase's pads. I really should make an in-depth tutorial later on, but basically trim the black base plate surrounding the pad and cut out any of the existing pads from the firebase. Once there's enough clearance, paste the building on the firebase.

Is there any plan to make it possible to transplant these onto firebases? Still awesome nonetheless.

These are damn beautiful. I'll be getting every module in the series, that's for damn sure. Best looking base modules I've ever seen.
