Ross Scott as Freeman's Voice (v1.5)

Description
"It's not that Doctor Freeman doesn't speak, it's that no one lives to tell about it."

This mod replaces all of the moments where you can hear Freeman's voice (e.g. pain grunts when you take damage, breathing after being knocked out by HECU in Apprehension) with Ross Scott's voice, who is the creator of Freeman's Mind. It does NOT add new voice lines to other audio files that do not contain Freeman's voice in Black Mesa.

To install this mod, subscribe to it, then put its VPK file in the custom folder. This guide by Citizen⁵ should explain how to create a custom folder and where to find the VPK file. After you've put the VPK file in the custom folder, unsubscribe from this mod.

Note: You can click here[www.accursedfarms.com]to download the official Freeman's Mind voice tracks released by Ross Scott himself in 2015.

I really hope that this goes for other specific locales, such at the mini-armory after getting through the small apc and HECU marine group after acquiring the Hivehand after traversing the powder keg-like munitions building, but if not then ah well, still a very nice addition regardless, definitely earned not just a fav and like, but also an icon-award for your effort i'd say. :higu_mion:

@IstD@dA, yeah not even close.
They're sound replacements, and replace the same set of sounds.
If you want a updated mod this is it. Mine hasn't been worked on for awhile.

@pyromine_niac thanks. Also, does this mod conflict with Freeman's Mind Voices ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1907123797&searchtext=freeman%27s+mind ) ? Seems to me that some of the sound files might conflict, but I'm not sure.

@istD@dA if you're talking about Ross saying stuff in the test chamber after the resonance cascade, i've removed that line with actual breathing from Ross. as for the vpk file, it should be in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\362890\1904803829
