What puzzles me though is the number 7 on the goalkeeper. An outfield player could go in goal and take up the gloves if the keeper was unable to continue and subs had been used up already which would at least explain the 7 on the Jersey but that seems a little contrived.

Or is it a tribute to Lucca Bucci, the Italian international who for a season wore number 7? That seems like wishful thinking. Most plausible is that it is a mistake by the game designer."
