114 upgradium pieces are scattered among the twelve available levels in the game.
At every moment, you can pause the game and check for missing pieces as the game shows you which one is missing in the same order as presented in this guide. This means you can search them by yourself and come back later while using this guide for the remaining pieces if you want. HOWEVER, keep in mind you'll have to complete the level all over again to definitely save them!

Collecting all of them rewards you will two Steam achievements ; they are also mandatory if you want to get all passive and combat upgrades – since this is the only way to level up.

The jelly floor on the right reveals a secret grotto underneath:










Really hard to miss:



















Missable. At some point, you need to break a tile so a big and rectangular jelly block drops from the roof. Use it to reach a new area and repeat a second time. The piece of upgradium is right at the top of the second block. /!\ Don't break the rightmost title where the second jelly block needs to stand on /!\

A fake wall reveals a secret entrance. Then follow and take a portal to a little bonus area:




























Once you reach this room from the bottom, pass through the gap on the left:










Missable. Same process as #3.

After falling down into a large grotto, backtrack a little:



















Follow the gap using wall jumps then do a leap of faith. Bouncing on the blue jelly floor will let you reach a secret place:




























Hard to miss. Take the portal to a bonus area:










Go to the upmost part of the room using walljumps:










After activating this switch, go to the secret area on its right:










Hard to miss. Use the grapple to get enough height, then let you fall and bounce back to the upgradium piece.



















Hard to miss. Take the left tunnel:










Once you enter a large room from the right, use your grapple again to reach a secret portal:










The last piece of upgradium can be found after a countdown just begins. Since you may loose precious seconds to your counter during the process, you may need to start over: don't worry, the piece will be saved.

At the very beginning, turn left:










The next foor pieces can be found during the first forced scrolling sequence (a giant slime will chase you). Remember you can die and still keep them so don't worry too much about it. You need to take and keep the upper path to grab #2, 3 and 4.



















#5 is hardly missable and can be found just before the elevator:



















Hard to miss. Merge two little cubes in order to make a bigger one:



















Hard to miss. Push every slime cubes to the right:










All of them can be found during the second chasing sequence.
For #8, head for the upper path using the grapple and push the slime block to make a bigger one:










For #9, look for this particular area:



















For #10, near the end, use you grapple and push the three cubes you will come across in order to merge them into a very big one. Use the secret elevator to access a hidden bonus area:



















Hard to miss:



















The giant slime will chase you again for the third and last time. Manage to head towards the upper path whenever you can to get all of them:

This is pretty straightforward and hard to miss:




























Simply beat the last boss:

Not too far to the starting point, you can spot a fake wall to the left:










Just before the conveyor belt, go to the highest possible point:










Mind the fake wall under the portable orb:










Move to the opposite direction of the conveyor belt and pass through the opening:










Level 7 required (half of the upgradium pieces) for the up aerial attack. Use a combined jump of a basic jump (A) and an up aerial attack (↑+Y) then some wall jumps to reach the portal:




























According to 13AM Unai (Dev), it's still possible to reach enough height using the red beam!

You can notice a little gap between those two pillars. Use the wall jumps to reach a hidden piece of upgradium.

Once you've felt a large pit, avoiding being crushed by horizontal pillars, you can notice a little gap to your left. Take the portal for another challenge:




























With the right timing, reach the secret hole below the moving pillar:

Right after starting the level, head back for a bonus area through a portal:










Hidden in a container:










Use your grapple to reach the top instead:




























Use a bomb to break the container:










When jumping from car to car, use your grapple as soon as possible and move on top of the container. You must enter a battle arena before grabbing the fifth piece of upgradium:



















Keep an eye on this secret entrance:

During a timed sequence. You will most likely loose too much time and die few seconds after obtaining the upgradium piece, but don't worry, you will keep it anyway:

After the first battle arena, you will move into a building. Just before the grapple section, keep an eye to the bottom right of the screen for a secret passage:

Level 7 required (half of the upgradium pieces) for the up aerial attack. When you've cleaned this battle arena, use the grapple and a combined jump of a basic jump (A) and an up aerial attack (↑+Y) to reach the top of the pink sign. Move left and enter the portal for a balloon challenge.




























This is apparently doable without the need of the up aerial attack! According to 13AM Unai (Dev) :

A trick to make it easier to get the Funderdome upgradium you were asking about is to hook the anchor while you're above it. Funderdome anchors bounce you higher if you hook them from above.

Basically, all you have to do is to beat the highest score of every arcade game. It's very tough but doable, be prepared to have some hard times though!

The two last pieces of upgradium are located behind both the red and the green door. To access, you need to successively freeze the moving platforms so you can reach both of them:

I spent a lot of time figuring it out. Just defeat the boss and when the two first gems and a portal appear, keep beating Hancho. He will eventually drop the last three pieces.
