The CPU update was so people don't crash or lag out there servers i guess obvoisly you can just make your own server with it disabled if you want you may run into what caused them to put that in the game in first place if you do though.

Not "now", CPU has been disabled since the beginning.
Why are you complaing about a feature that is disabled by default and you can safely ignore without consequence? Is your life so shallow?

If they just changed CPU to give a benefit for adding them in instead of punish you for not having them in they would make most people happy AND actually encourage specialization.

That feeling when you fly with 11 654 896 out of 200 000 cpu. I hope they are gonna remove this feature.

What they really need to do is raise the CPU limits of each tier by about 2 to 3 times.
I have noticed that even deco plants take CPU. I a gotta wonder; What the hell is a fake plant gonna compute?

Yeah this is why I play strictly WITHOUT the CPU thing enabled. It wrecks all the awesome ships, bases and hovers that I have collected from the workshop. Heck my primary capital vessel is so far over the CPU limit that even if I added all the CPU upgrades it would be over the limit.

You can use RCS on small builds and they work quite well. They just have higher CPU cost. For bigger craft it is cheaper to use thrust torque around the center of mass. You can fly with just one engine now and set of wings.
