Ah yes the spartan... some pretty good stomach muscle dont you agree? Anyways the spartans has medium armor that means he can take some blows but not too much he is pretty fast tought.He uses antic weapons but that dosent mean he is useless in any way. he has long reaching weapons which keeps his enemies at bay and at close up he is pretty dangerous with his sword and shield which i will come to that later.Notice that when you atempt to use an overhead attack he uses his shield bash instead the attack of his weapon. And also notice that when you press the F key he dosent bash with hes shield instead he uses his famous foot in which the knight and viking use there shield for bashing.The spartan class is the most dangerous while working in group with other spartans a lone spartan is a dead spartan so work with your fellow warriors.

note: its the hardest class to play in the game so far some say its underpowered.

The Dory the 1st spear weapon avaliable to the spartan you can carry only 1 you can trow it by holding the middle mouse button and then releasing. Its the most powerful spear avaliable to the spartan its trow damage is extremely powerful bieng able to one shot pirates and ninjas in the head or body however it wont kill them if you shot them in the leg.You can kill the other classes by shooting them in the head exept the knight . It is the longest of the spears (not counting the sarissa because its a pike not a spear) dont trow it only if your sure to hit someone beter yet just keep fighting with it if someone gets too close just shield bash him to gain some distance and poke em in the head also to note : you can pick up your spear from the ground or any other spear ur fellow spartan has trown on the ground.Beter use the spear or any other spear vs armored classes since they are more resistant to slashes but are more vulnerable to piercing damage.I recommend using the stab attack it does the most damage and its easy to land.

Yes its prety darn long isnt it? sure it is its fcken 8 meters long you can start poking those gay pirates and show em whats range a taste of there own medicine however up close its pretty darn useless. And you cant shield bash with it like you can while having the spear or sword the only thing you can do is kick him and draw your sword. Even if you manage to hit him up close with it will deal much less damage as you would from a longer distance that goes for all spear weapons really. So use it at a long distance but up close draw you sword. And also you cant block with the small pelta shield beacuse its strapped on your shoulder you can only parry with the pike beacuse the pike is too long and heavy to be held with just 1 hand.You can block with the pelta when you pull up your sword. Use the stab attack its harder to parry and does more damage and remember if you want to hit the enemy with the maximum damage hit the enemy when the spear is fully extended.

what attack to use : agan use the same attack and combos you use with the other spears .

The shield the most importand equipment in the spartan arsenal.Losing the spear or the sword is acceptable but losing the shield is punishable with public execution .The shield is not only used to protect the user but also can be used as a weapon also with the shield attack.But NEVER use the shield attack with a group of people around you it will result in hiting teammates all around you instead use the stab attack of the sword or better yet switch to your spear or pike (if you have one ) and stab with it .You have a large shield use it to your advantage altought you cant fully block gunpowder (it will block 70 % damage) it will deflect all other kind of damage and especially those random ♥♥♥♥ the vikings trow at you but with a knockback.And blocking with the shield its not just aiming at the enemy and holding right mouse buton DO NOT HOLD THE SHIELD IN FRONT OF THE ENEMY FACE hes face wont hurt you but his weapon will surely will block with the shield just like when you block while using a weapon look at hes weapon otherwise he will just go around your shield and hit you. Also to note that you do less damage with the shield bash when your holding a spear that holding a sword.

This is the 1st sword the spartan will get its the fastest that the other swords it has a decent reach but its weaker that the other swords its very good for making combos beacuse of his speed u can make a shield combo folowed by sword combo.

The second sword of the spartan used by the macedonian pikeman. if your picking up the sarissa you may consider picking this baby up. it has the shortest range of all the swords making it very good for huging tactic and for LMB spamming the damage is pretty decent as well.

The last sword for the spartans and my personal favorite it has the longest range of all the other swords and does massive damage however its the slowest of all the swords. Swing carefuly with this weapon since its the slowest missing with it will get you punished by the enemy.So time your hits carefuly dont just go in and start swinging.Because of its long reach you can go around shields easily.The slash does massive damage its able to 2 shot most classes and 3 shot knights use that attack the most.

- stick with your teammates dont be a lone wolf your an easy picking for the enemy leave the lone wolf thing to the ninjas.

-dont trow your spears from a long distance you will probably miss and lose the spear in the prosses and losing the advantage of a longer distance fighting with the enemy instead charge in with your teammates and when you get to a 10 m distance from the enemy together trow your spears at them and then pull out your swords and go in melee mode.

-Use the shield not only for blocking but for attacking as well the shield bash is very quick and powerful and its hard to parry even for the more experience players.

-your bronze armor is desent but not as good as the of the knight, samurai and viking so take care and dont trade hits with these classes.

- when your facing a knight, samurai or a viking switch to your spear beacuse it stab does more damage to heavy classes and your shield does blunt damage which also does extra damage to them. A combo i like to use with the spear is: LMB, alternate overhead (shield bash) use the 1 shield bash just to close distance on him then land the 2 shield bash and then a stab from the spear.

- If you dont have a spear with you and you are facing the classes mentioned above use this combo: stab, alternate shield bash ( dont make 2 shield bashes your holding a sword not a spear you dont have to close distance from him your have already close distance because your holding a shorter weapon) then alternate slash.

-if your facing ninjas or pirates better use the sword since they are less resistant to slashes.Use this combo: alternate slash, LMB, and 2 alternate shield bashes.

-if you face these light classes and have a spear and no time to switch to your sword use this combo: LMB, stab and then 2 alternate shield bashes.

-if you face an enemy spartan of the battlefield dont kill him even if he tries to kill you after all you all share the same spartan blood :D


note: these combos are not easy to pull off they require some understaning of the game mechanic, and a good mouse. But then again you dont have to use these combos in every fight just keep them in mind.Practise them on a duel server if you prefer before using them in combat.

I decided to write this section because of the fact that on every map i see my fellow spartans fall by the 'GUNS' a technology that to the spartans is almost allien.The spartans diidnt have this kinda problem since the Battle of Thermopylae.Even great Zeus cant find the solution to this problem.But dont be afraid my fellow warriors cuz i have the answer :). Now the 1st quesion that we will answer is why are we so weak to the 'GUNS'? but 1st lets have a look at the other classes why they dont have such a big problem with the 'GUNS' as much as we do.

-NINJA he can simply roll left or right and avoid 'GUN FIRE' and if the pirate reloads he can simply trow his shuriken and once he gets close to the pirate hes pretty much dead.

-KNIGHT the pirates bigest nemesis so far. There stupid 'GUN POWDER' cant do ♥♥♥♥ to them and once the knight gets close to them he can start choping there limbs and heads like leonidas ( god rest his soul) did to the persians and them weapons cant do ♥♥♥♥ to his armor.

-VIKINGS also a big problem to the pirates(thank ZEUS) he can move fast and avoid 'GUN FIRE' like a boss his weapons can also almost oneshot them and if the pirates start running like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ( in which in most cases they do) they can trow everything at them ( and when i mean everything I MEAN EVERYTHING)

-SAMURAI ah poor samurai they share our problem :( . But atleast they can fight back with there coward weapon (BOW) and they have more armor then us but there weapons are slow in which the pirates can easlly counter attack.

-PIRATES NOBODY CARES ABOUTH ( in which i call) THE CONFLICT OF THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THEY CAN ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ALL GO TO THE UNDERWORLD FOR AS I CARE !!!!

-ah yes my friend here we are THE SPARTANS the quesion that why are we so weak to 'GUNPOWDER' will be answered shortly.

Now the 1st problem is our bronze armor sure its decent but that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'GUN POWDER' can go trought it like a knife trought butter.The shield helps to reduce the damage by a lot but you will be still stunned and open for another pirate to blow your ballz off.The spear helps beacuse you can trow it and 1 shot those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ however NEVER USE IT UP CLOSE VS THEM only if you have no time to switch to your sword. Because of the fact that when you attack with the spear if he blocks it he will face hug you and when he does this and if the hold the 'SHANK" your in DEEP ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ will just dance around your shield and hit you like a fcken machine and you cant do a thing abouth it.You can try to use your foot then back off so you can switch to your sword.Whats the right thing to do ? when you spot the little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ charge at him at full speed with your shield raised if you get hit and see that he reloads trow a spear at him when you get close to him with the sword (FOR THE LOVE OF ZEUS DO NOT LET HIM FACE HUG YOU) try to keep your distance from him even if your holding a sword. The swords is more tricky to block and the shield bash is even harder you can use the combo i mentioned above or try to hit with your sword but dont get close try to hit him with the tip of the blade after this spam your shield bash ( and yes get close to him) but after he recovers he will probably try to face hug you ( DO NOT LET HIM DO THAT) use your foot to knock him back and repeat the above mentioned attack.When he has low health the pirate scum will probably try to run like a persian coward.Pick up your spear and trow it in his butthole once he is down chop his head and all of his limbs just to make sure he gets to the underworld faster.

When you spot the shield kicker he will probably walk to you doing nothing and when he gets very close to you he will kick you leaving you open for an attack then he will get around your shield and LMB giving him a free hit. What dosent work :

- begging for zeus to help you (altought sometimes very rarely it works) .

-simply attacking him (he will just parry and do the kick again).

- running around like a headless chicken.

-shield bash might work but he will probably parry it if hes more experienced

what does work:

while he is closing distance on you he will probably expect from you to hit him so he can parry it.Instead USE FEINT this will completely suprise him it is gay but i used this so many times and they rage like crazy.After the hit shield bash him it will surely land since he is frozen solid from the last hit thinking what i tought the kick will work.After this (if he recovers) he will probaly keep on going on his goal: to use the foot on you no matter what. Back off and trow a spear in his face.If you dont have the spear with you repeat the above attacks.Results?
