Right now the regular version of the game is kinda broken (as far as i know) and the new experimental branch has fixed this stuff

It varies, beta branch allows you to get updates earlier than the people on the standard branch, although there can be some serious bugs on the beta branch that can break the game, so for content wise use the beta branch, if there is big bugs use standard version.

just got the game and trying to figure out stuff, any help would be appreciated. Should i do this opt in to betas i mean, and only have played single player, any suggestions for a better playing experience?
