Stop the flickering
Door Chipper
To stop the flickering rename or delete the file systemdetection.dll on installation folder.

Steam installs to C:\Program Files\Steam\ folder by default and files for games installed on Steam are stored in the folder C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\ by default.

There is no systemdetection.dll file to delete. It is not there! I've spent two hours straight trying to find the file and it is not there.

Hi, I found another solution while tinkering with the game and thought: this is a game from 2011, so I think the best thing to do is to set it to compatibility mode with Windows 7, and it worked. Now, what you have to do is go to the game folder, right-click on ACRSP.exe, properties, compatibility, check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and then choose Windows 7, which was the most stable Windows of that time. See if it works for you, and if not, try another one like Windows 8 or Windows 10. If this doesn't work, it worked for me, and I hope it works for someone else.
