Description
Era - 1990s / 2010s - UFC/Pride FC/Strikeforce/Affliction

Vitor Belfort is know as "The Phenom" and has more than earned such a nickname, having scored more knockouts than anyone else in UFC history, using blindingly fast combinations and crushing kicks, serving as a threat to top opponents for three decades.

Belfort was only ninteen when he started his UFC career, winning a Heavyweight tournament at UFC 12. A startling win over Wanderlei Silva would end up as a career highlight, as Belfort blitzed the Axe Murderer across the cage with a relentless series of punches to earn a knockout in under a minute against a fellow great.

Switching back and forth betwen the UFC and Pride FC over the next decade, Belfort avenged a loss to Randy Couture to win the UFC Light Heavyweight title before losing it again to Couture, traded wins and losses with Alistair Overeem, took a highlight reel knockout loss to Anderson Silva in a UFC Middleweight title challenge, scored his own by way of a spin heel kick against Luke Rockhold and defeated the likes of Rich Franklin, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Dan Henderson.
