So there is not much to explain other then don't stop moving really...
I will go a tiny bit in depth for each enemy so you know how to easily get rid of them and save yourself a mini heart attack when you spot them.

Under this section I'll list the basic enemies and how to quickly get rid of them.

The pumpkin skeleton is the most basic and easy enemy to defeat. The come rushing at you with no plan what so ever. They only have 1 goal. To hit you. Nothing else.
Is there any special tactic to defeat them?
No. If you have a shovel just swing like crazy until they are gone. But if you have a whip don't wait till they come private space close but just as soon as they notice you and start charging.

The green bats are annoying flying things that shoot those damn fire balls at you. But luckily they aren't like the skeletons with no plan.

Here comes a quick tip on how to defeat them.
They start charging their fire ball when they are max whip length which means that as soon as they charge you can quickly whip them. But don't forget to move. Don't move in a direct line towards them but in a zig zag type way so when they shoot they don't hit you.
But if you have shovels, just rush at them (not in a straight line again) and hit them 2x if you only have one shovel. But if you have 2 then you can do the math of how many times you can hit them if you hit them with both at once.
In a panic they can be countered with the shotgun.

These are the red bats. The 2nd most annoying enemy in the game. The have 1 similarity with the green ones. No not that they are both bats but they both start attacking/charging at max whip length. So you can defeat them exactly the same as you would with the green ones (with the whip).
This time you can't really do a zig zag strategy since they charge at you (they don't charge in a straight line but they like to follow you). So if you have the shovels/pitchforks wait for them to charge at you (recommended thing is to keep moving but not directly at them) and smack them.
Another thing to remember is that they have a tiny bit less health than the green bats.

These skeletons are marksmen and they don't really have the best aim if you keep moving but they are experts at aiming at a non moving target (a target that runs at them in a direct line too).
Once you spot them make sure you look out when they start aiming at you. When they do run to one of the sides of them (recommended is to always move sideways when fighting them).
These skeletons can kill you anywhere on the map as soon as they spot you. They have insane range so don't underestimate them! It is easier to kill them with a whip since you hit them a lot sooner than with shovels and stuff.

The maids are the most annoying enemy (in my opinion) since they throw these bones like there is no tomorrow. But they can be countered similar like the marksmen so move from side to side and not in a direct line at them. If you can't really come to them, shoot them if you can so you can get a little bit of HP off them so you can have an easier time killing them later on.

Yes indeed. The bones the maids throw can be stopped by smacking them with a shovel. Thank you for the missed information!

The barrel dogs seem scary and hard to defeat but they aren't. Once they start charging you can whip them to throw them to the ground and cancel their attack. There isn't many in Crescendo itself so you won't need to worry finding hoards of them. You can counter them with whips and other weapons such as shotguns, pistols, crossbows but not shovels or others. Sometimes they ignore your shovels and pitchforks and charge straight into you and kill you. So recommended thing is to just use the whip.
