Hide and Shriek is not a hard game to complete but it does require a LOT and I mean A LOT of RNG base luck. From getting the correct ruins to hoping to god a journal entry spawns in your game. If RNG luck based achievements aren't your thing then i would highly recommend staying away from this game.

Another thing you will need is a partner who is willing to help you with these achievements. If you think you can get them by just playing public games you are wrong. Everyone always tries there hardest to win in public match so its gona be much hard trying there. So my advice is to get a partner and just play private matches until you get all of your achievements but 1. I will get on to that later on in the guide.

Pretty self explanatory really.

Have you and your partner go into a private game and scare them 3 times in a row over the course of 3 games.

Once you start a game start looking for your coloured orbs. Once you find a orb bring it to the middle and repeat. While you are doing this tell your partner to help you find your coloured orbs. Once you have about 4 in the middle you can start bringing your orbs to your alter. If you don't get the amount before the time is up you can gain an extra 10,000 points by getting a merciless victory. If you still don't have enough points pick up some ruins, they give around 500-1000 points each.

Time for some grinding. Get you and your partner into a private game session, once the game starts go over to the middle and wait... yep that it, just wait. Once your partner has his/hers Shriek meter full tell them to scare you. Repeat until you have unlocked the achievement.

Okay, so the time has come to get to max level. The things you will need for this is:

This is not going to be easy nor is it gona be quick. The best strategy i found was to get your partner to stand in the middle. Then you would scare them 3 times in a row to get a merciless victory which will give you more exp. Repeat over and over until you reach max level which is level 30

You will need to cast each spell at least once, so to figure out which ones you haven't cast go to the profile and go to spells. The ones you have casted have text below them, the ones you haven't don't have anything below them. Down below i have listed all of the spells and what is required to make the spell in your game.

To get this achievement you need to launch a public match at the same time as your partner and hope that you guys get into the same lobby. You can try to search for a public game on its own, but the player base is pretty much dead so good luck with that.

When you start the game you want either Fright Pocket or Fright trap, while you find your ruins you will be building up your shriek meter. once you find your ruin place it on a door and tell your friend to open it. Once they do they will be stunned use this time to scare them.

Once you start your session you want to get the orange ruin in your game. Once you do, search around for it until you find the ruin. Stand on one side of the hallway and tell your partner to stand in the circle and to run directly at you, once they get close enough use your spell.

When you start your game you are looking for the Yellow, Blue and Cyan ruins. Once you have these in your game you want to find and combine the yellow and cyan ruins to make Treasure sight. Before you use it, locate one of the other ruins you need so that once you activate it you can pick the other one up then use it straight away. Then find your last ruin and use it.

Once you start your game you are looking for the Red, Blue and Cyan ruins. Once you have them in your game start looking for one of the combinations. (If you don't know what the combinations are refer to the Archmage section of this guide.) After you have made one of the combinations use it on your partner then repeat with the other combination.

When you start your game you are looking for the yellow and orange ruins. Once you have those in your game tell your partner to go find both of the ruins. While they are doing that you want to be searching for one of your orbs. Once they have found both of the ruins tell them to activate it once your near the alter, after they have activated it put your orb on the alter.

So i have some bad news, if you want to 100% this game you are going to have to buy the mask pack dlc to be able to obtain meatface's mask. If you don't mind doing that... then great, we can move on.

To get this achievement you are going to have to do 2 requirements. The first one is to get the As if... achievement, this unlocks the sausage necklace. The second requirement is to reach level 27, this will unlock the chef hat. Once you have done these two things equip meatface with the sausage necklace and the chef hat and go into a private game and scare your partner.

When you start your game you are going to want to look for the Purple and Red ruins. Once you have these in your game start collecting them. After you have collected the first one use it on a door and tell your partner to go through it. Repeat with the other colour as well. After you have done both of your ruins, tell your partner to do the same thing.

When you start your game look for the Red and Purple ruins. Once you have these in your game find and combine them. While you are doing this your partner will be building up their shriek meter. After you have done your part go to a door and make sure that your partner knows what door you are at, place the spell on the door and when it opens by itself tell your partner to walk into the middle of the door and use their shriek, repeat 2 more times to get the achievements.

Once you start your game you are looking for the Green and Blue ruins. once you have them in your game, quickly find both ruins and combine them straight away. After you have done that do it again for maximum time saving. While you are doing that tell your partner to stand in the middle. Once you have a full shriek meter go to the middle and scare your partner.

When you start your game you are looking for the Green and Cyan ruins. Once you have these in your game, you have to find both of them and combine them. While you are doing that have your partner look for your coloured orbs and place them in the room where your alter is. Once you have three orbs in the room locate 1 more of each of the ruins in that room. Then you need to put a orb on your alter then immediately activate your spell while you are waiting for your alter to spawn back in pick up the other ruins. Once you alter spawns back in repeat the previous step, If you fail have another shot at it since its quite finicky.

When you start your game you are on the lookout for the Green and Red ruins. Once you have them in your game tell your partner to find them and combine them together. Then have both you and your partner stand in the middle and have your partner activate there spell. Once you have done this stand in the same spot until you both get sucked up.

OKAY, TIME TO PRAISE THE RNG GODS. To get this achievement you are going to need the Red, Cyan, Yellow and Green ruins in your game. this is very hard to do since the odds of getting 4 out 5 ruins is not impossible but VERY hard. Once you have these in your game have your partner combine the 3 ruins, while they are doing that you need to find the green and yellow ruins and combine them. once both of you have done your tasks go to the middle and tell them to activate their spell. Once they have walk, right up to them and use your spell, then immediately scare them.
