Description
Description:

1: open terrain:party[terrain.party] in your web browser and look for a map you want to download

2: click on the "Export" cloud on the right side on the screen and download the file

3: put your file into your hightmaps folder for Cities: Skylines
mine was here:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\MapEditor\Heightmaps

4: go to your hightmaps folder and open zip-file[www.7-zip.org] you´ve downloaded

5: open the README file and look for the coordinates

6: change the position of each number as shown in the video and erase the last two digits of each number
eg.:
-122.597244,53.986570,-122.872251,53.824873
has then tolook like
-122.8722,53.8248,-122.5972,53.9865

-> Important: For Cities east of the meridian you don´t have to change the positions of the coordinates

7: copy this now changed coordinates

8: go to your map editor in game

9: import your hightmap by clicking on import (I always take the merged)

10: smoothen the terrain

11: open Cimtographer by clicking on the street button on the right side of the toolbar

12: for a full streetmap change in the "tiles to boundary" the 2.5 to 4.5!

13: paste your coordinates you´ve copied for your readme file into the bounding box field

14: click on "load from overpass-api.de" and wait until it has loaded the file

15: click on "make roads"

How Prince George looks now :)

@moreoptions, low tolerance means less difference to original and scale is scale. 1 scale is the same map scale as downloaded. Try it out and look what´s happening
MOREOPTIONS 29 May, 2020 @ 1:40pm
Good day, What are the tolerance level settings do please? Also, if I may, What scale do I use?

@Lemon Yes, because it is a map west of the meridian. On the east side, as in the description you don´t have to do that.

Were the last four digits reversed on purpose? Thanks. :ap_reallyhappy:

Thanks for sharing such an amazing tool! On one note, your GUIDE is showing up on the main page of the workshop, could you please provide a link to the MOD itself? I had to search for it on the workshop but Im sure future followers will appreciate a direct link to the MOD. Thank you!

@meme eg: 18 tiles (standard) = scale 1; 9 tiles = scale 2
MemeScreen 6 Jan, 2020 @ 5:32pm
What should we do if we change the scale according to the 17.28km standard mentioned here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1275917540
