Bishamon Class Mobile Artillery Platform

The Bishamon Class Mobile Artillery Platform is a Dreadnought that was designed from the ground-up to be a brawler. Equipped with twice the normal amount of armor plating and weaponry, the Bishamon is meant to barge into a warzone, pick a fight, and win. Though the majority of its weapon hardpoints are equipped with spaceborne ship-to-ship armaments, the Bishamon also sports a formidable array of planetary bombardment orbital lances and atmospheric deployment drop bays on the bottom section of the vessel.


"Though pomp and circumstance isn't really my thing, I was glad of one thing. Among the exravagencies on display at Admiral Park's funeral was the traditional '21-gun-salute.' Only this time, instead of being carried out by Marines, the salute was conducted by the very ship he had commanded before his untimely death. The USS 2871 Bishamon came about to the port side of the starbase, laid gravitic anchor, then committed all of her starboard weapons array to an unprecendented display of ceremonial martial force. It was certainly more than just 21 guns. How many guns was it? I couldn't tell you, the full armament capacity and make-up of that ship class varies by vessel and is classified."
