Description
[LEGACY]
This mod can no longer be maintained due to loss of files or extremely outdated implementation. Some of the mods marked as legacy can still be updated or remade (because of my fondness towards them) but if they ever will be they will be uploaded onto their seperated mod and possibly revamped. Others already have a more recent version (possibly also legacy) but this means that they are end of line and won't receive more updates.

TLDR; possibly never to be updated. If updated they will go in a brand new mod.

Tau: Firecast Warrior,

A Fire Warrior is a member of the Tau Fire Caste and thus serves as the primary soldier and the core combatant of the Tau Empire's multispecies armed forces. Fire Warriors are efficient, professional soldiers. They are well-equipped,and their absolute belief in the Greater Good and their fanatical trust in the Ethereal Caste makes them deeply determined soldiers, grim in defence and aggressive on the attack.
Fire Warriors are bred to be naturally more ferocious and aggressive than other Caste members. They are more heavily muscled, stouter, and broader than their racial brethren. Fire Caste members are slightly shorter then the average human, standing roughy 5'5" - 5'7". However their depth-perception is comparatively poorer than those humans, as is their reflexes, causing them to be comparatively poor melee fighters. A note of exception are the Fire Warriors of O'Shovah, who actively train in close-quarters combat, to prepare for conflicts with their hated enemies, the Orks. Fire Warriors believe hand-to-hand fighting to be barbaric, and leave this role of battle to the Kroot mercenaries, who are far more able than the Tau in the chaos that is melee combat. However, Fire Warrior's bonded by the ta'lissera brotherhood ritual are armed with ceremonial swords, despite these not being ideal for combat.

I can't find the skin anymore. The mutator works, but I receive an error message upon loading, saying that the object reference is not set to the instance of an object

Yeah it's totally fixable, just kinda BS the workshop creators have to worry about/work around this stuff. I suspect/fear at some point SR will just pull support for the other two platforms but this far very little has been done to fix the disparity or the major bugs I've reported/experienced for years sadly.

mhm true but I noticed it occuring only when using certain materials or import settings on assets, this leads me too believe that it might be fixable by avoiding those.

@Lordaloa You won't have those bugs because you are on the platform it was created on. This is a problem when workshop items use specific Direct X functions in Unity. The result is an item that only works on platforms with Direct X, i.e. Windows only. In MacOS and Linux there are other/better systems but Unity doesn't seem to export in a way that correctly identifies the right system to use so on our platforms it just either renders pure black (baked lighting) or fuchia/pink (missing texture due to incorrect paths). Also don't be lulled into thinking the export to Mac/Linux bit in Raventools always works. You'll have to export with it and test to see if it actually "hits" the problematic bits.
